You don't have to suscribe to FilePlanet to get a key, they will eventually offer it to all registered members like they do with all their keys... Not only that but Fileplanet isnt going to be the only one distributing keys, TenTonHammer is giving them away and a bunch of other sites... MMORPG will more than likely give them away as well.. |

The OP is an asshat... My searchfu is indeed strong and I see his post in the forums... His Attitude was completely uncalled for... Looks like the mods deleted his other 2 said posts in response to Zloth and the 2nd poster. I don't quite get why he is so defensive about that characters lvl... It looks as they they were earnestly trying to assist you with your issue and you copped an attitude with them for simply asking a question they felt was needed to help you.. Which was then explained why the question was asked... which ANSWERED your problem!

You'll find most servers lacking in population but that just means that the Supergroups are tighter knit. But the most active Servers are freedom and Virtue... Virtue being the fave among RP'ers... I'd say Freedom is the best way to go though... With the awesome community in CoH you'd have no problem. |

Err...... Ok... Only one sentence in my entire post was about PvP... Doesn't see how that makes the entire thing about PvP.
50 Thug > Batman... 50 Super powered thugs > Superman... 50 Mezzing Lieutenants > You... It sounds as though you'd prefer to play on "easy mode" with few challenges. Even on my hero tank defenders tend to pop Clear mind on me for mez protection when going into a Mob of Carnies... Without it they'd hold me... And it's always been that way. Just because you've had the grace of god not to be mezzed before doesn't mean it suddenly broke and somehow amazingly you're the only person in CoH who notices it... If it bothers you that much Roll A Blood widow... And you'll get 2 mez protection powers which almost guarantees you no mezzes.. Or a Wolf spider and you can get mez protection from lvl 1 |

Even in a comic or Cartoon, [insert godly villain here] may not be held by a single hero but if enough of them focus their powers on him they could bind him (Mez) Doesn't seem like too hard of a concept to understand... but he doesn't seem to get it... |

I'd say play LOTRO unitl Aion comes out. Not sure when Aion is releasing so waiting for it alone wouldn't be too smart. Also Aion is on the top of my mmo list this year. So I suppose I'll see ya there someday! |

Yeh, being P2P will make for a better game... So they'll actually be paid for working on updates for the game... Hopefully expansions will be free like how NCSoft does with CoH... Maybe i'm just wishing for too much |

Two number 3's there ^_^... Meh, lag has never been a problem to me in CoH... Dunno, though the game can be a little taxing on some systems. Just adjust the graphics slider down a notch or two or use the advanced graphics feature and untick anything you don't need... Solo is fine and all but for leveling teaming is usually faster... Solo has it's pluses though... Fighting magic enemies like CoT that Drop Arcane invention salvage means you get that salvage all to yourself and can occasionally find a pangean soil, Hamidon Goo, etc which the fools waiting at Wentworths Auction will buy for millions of influence. But if Xp is what you want just broadcast for a team in the appropriate zone. Grouping is the best way to level... Best way to find one is to broadcast, check the Looking for box so if someone is looking for members they'll know you are looking for team. Oh, or you can join a decent SuperGroup (CoH version of a guild) with an active coalition (A group of supergroups)... The Sg I'm in right now constantly runs Farms, TF's, SF's, Respecs, Raids, etc... Oh and they added the rikti invasions which happens a few days out of some months. Good for badges only as they XP is horrible from em. |

Freedom is the most populated server hands down.. Virtue is second... Most other servers are deserted and migrating to Freedom or Virtue. |

Aion is on the top of my list of MMORPGs though I'm not really sure if it will best WoW... Wow already had a large fanbase of before the MMORPG because of Warcraft of course... Which then multiplied that fanbase even more. Which even led to me trying WoW and by the time my trial expired regretting every penny I'd spent on it... Aion doesn't have the fanbase in place yet and though it should be a great game. I doubt it will get as popular as WoW. |

Even you yourself (OP) said you were Highly resistant to Mez... Not Impervious... taking 3-4 holds and still kicking is pretty good for mez protection considering squishies can't take one... What did you think you'd go through the entire game and never get mezzed? My first tank got mezzed for the first time recently... Did I lose my mind over it? No... Cuz It isn't a magic mez-b-gone power... It only makes me higly resistant to it... And fighting enough Carnies will do that to you.. And for a non tank class you can expect to get mezzed even more often. I think you're just overestimating yourself... You are not that good... You aren't some UBER brute who can never get mezzed... Get over it Oh yeah, Jack Emmertt "Stateman" Was the nerfaholic behind CoH... He's the one behind all the crazy nerf of CoX.. Now that he's got the boot they are doing a lot less nerfing and more actual improvements which is why we got stuff like the XP smoothing. |

You also have to consider the fact that NcSoft only had about 15 people working on CoH at the time. And now that they have NcSoft NorCal dedicated to CoX only and are hiring new devs issues should be rolling out just as they were before. Issue 12 was supposed to be a small issue and look at what is supposed to be coming out. Considering the recent move and new devs I think they're doing pretty good... Once the newbs get used to the code and whatnot things should be moving along a little bit faster. |

You should probably come in when I12 comes out.. It has a lot of new content.. They typically relase 2-3 issues a year... Though last year they only had a handful of ppl working on the game so there wasn't to much new content... 15 ppl I believe... But NCSoft got a new studio in NorCal soley dedicated to CoH and are hiring new developers. So they should be back up to 2-3 issues a year again.. Issue 12 is supposed to be a small issue but has an assload of new content for us. New zones, QoL updates, Powerset Proliferation, new villain groups, And Villain Epic Archetypes... And you're getting all that despite the fact that there are a lot of new ppl working on the project. So if you don't come back immediately at least come back in the next month or two when I12 drops. ooh, and one more thing they changed the XP curve recently so lvling is a lot easier now.. There have been some who have gotten to 50 in 2 weeks. You can easily get a new character to 14 2 days now. Teamed of course... |
