 on the PvMP , it's a lot safer on the moors if you travel en masse so to speak It's a nice diversion though isn't it. being able to participate in competitive PvP action within the first day or so of playing. Make sure you check out the chicken play also You will laugh your butt off.

 

Chicken play, what the? And yea, patience is the one who replied to my rant on the forums.

I still need to do that.

I can't wait to do chicken play with my friend.

I played for about 2 hours today on Brandywine with no problems at all. A little delay in e0mail but that was it.

In this update Turbine did some things that they have never done before. (This server wide event and the live ones coming) The problems that arose with this new content was not caught early on the preview server because they weren't active yet. Turbine did not want everyone to know what as going to happen, they wanted to be surprised. Well things didn't work out perfectly. They have tried to fix things with taking down the servers a little as possible, but it seems to not be working so they are going to take it down for a good while to get it fixed.

This is not good for Turbine and they know that they need to get it fixed. Just be patient, this is very much so not the norm for this game.

Don't give up...it will be back up. This is very rare for this game. Hope to see you in game.

Yeah LOTRO is a great choice...you might want to get an extra gig of ram. It's pretty cheap now.

LOTRO is great for the PVE non gear-centric crowd. That is why I love it. I hated that with WoW.

That is exactly how I feel I love LOTRO. I have always been a sucker for story in a game and this one has it.

It does help to show the server loads though.

I really love the fact there are quest everywhere in AoC. You will find quest givers out in the wild and all over the cities. The quest offer the usual kill x, deliver y, etc. but they are really fun. So far I have pretty much just gathered items and quested. Now this may seem shallow for an mmo but the quests are diverse so it seems very fresh. So is AoC a  questers dream game? So far I would have to say yes in my experience.

More than LOTRO?

No, people think end-game HAS to mean doing raids over and over. They have no comprehension that there are other things to do. They only want to do things that give them better gear or better things.

LOTRO isn't about that. If you can grasp that end-game isn't just about doing a couple different raids all the time, then there is a lot to do in LOTRO.
