why dont you try the game and see iif your character is playing a role in the game. as far as im concerned the characters are. you dont jsut pick a new character or aircraft every time you play,

its actually more fun to play drunk on occassion because you have no clue what your doing and everything is a suprise. its like getting hooked on mmos all over again. i prefer to play drunk because i have more fun in parties and in dungeons than i do if im sober

well how isnt it a mmorpg? you level theres armor and different weapons and skills that are stronger as you level, you have to quest and do pvp to level and get items.  theres a story behind the game, characters and different factions. and sure theres the shooter aspect of the game thats not really mmorpg, but in almost all aspects its an instance based mmorpg. the instance style is almost like age of conan on a much smaller scale and your flying. if that makes any sense. im really tired if you cant tell by my horrible sentance and paragraph structure.

that makes sense. especially in this corporate world. lol

its a pain in the ass to play a game have it dissapear and then have it reappear under a new  name every 6 months. redownloading the client and starting over completely is kinda a pain. the player accounts arent kept. and neither is the items you spent money one if you used the item mall thingy. im not really mad or anything about it. its just frustrating. if wow or any mainstream game did that, im guessing tons of people would be irate . lol

yup now that i think back your right. i still cant figure out why its bieng tossed around like a hacky sack tho. kinda lame

MAYBE I SHOULD REITERATE. BUTTLOADS IS MORE THAN SAY 300. ITS GOT A SMALL BUT DEDICATED COMMUNITY THAT THINKS THE GAME IS THE BEST THING SINCE peanut butter slices. lol man im tired.

I dont know if any of you have played any previous releases of the game ACE online. it had as far as i know two other names. i dont  really remember the first one but the last one i played on it was called air combat. its a solid game with different take on the mmo aspect of gaming, and yet it cant seem to stay with a publisher, or a name apparently. the hours i did spend playing the game were enjoyable, and it kind of brought me back to the days of good ol starfox with an online community you could play against in a fairly open instanced area with quests and everything. so why does this game keep getting dropped?

i agree with myleigh7 regardless of darkfalls lack of media updates, theres still apparently buttloadds of people wanting to play the game. they gave so little to keep the masses interested, and yet they are... curiosity killed the cat? darkfalls got a little pandoras box thing goin on here i think...

flagship is'nt completely done. if you read on their site, due to the crappy economic situation they let go of a lot of their staff, but the origional founders and creators of the game are still there. flagship studios isnt completely done, they just downsized. sure theres a chance there gonna tank, but there trying to stay up for us hellgate players. I hope anyways. they really havent given us much information on what they plan to do, but for now, there doing what they can to stay up and running

give holic a try. its decently good looking if u like grandia style graphics, and the community is pretty active. i just had a really fun guild event, that you yourself can create, as well as quests and dungeons in game. its not a really harsh grind like fly for fun, but its challenging, its close to seamless while your playing, and it wont lagg or crash if u decide to use programs or play music while playing. at least i havent had any problems with it. my player name is tokarus209. hit me up if u decide to chek it out

Well CB3 is starting soon they've remade the client, and hopefully they'll be up and ready soon after that. id really like to see how the community grows after they hit open

ive been running vista for quite some time now, and ive had no problems. i built the computer myself, and with proper drivers, i havent had any strange graphical issues.

i downloaded the 1.0client  from file front, found a 0000031.rtp file and then after that it patched and im playing fine

i was in the closed beta, and stopped playing due to internet issues. not im back in and patching as i speak.. im hoping there have been a few improvements since the first month of the closed beta. its one of the few mmos i didnt get bored of 10 minutes into playing

lol hilarious . thats almost exactly what theyd do im guessing.

theres a reason its called the minimum system requirements. its the minimum to play the game. your gonna lag out, and have issues. its been like that with a lot of games for a long time. why sue over something thats true to almost all games
