Ran on ultra with no problems. Also had 2 other computers playing it at the same time, no problem. (My internet is even sub-par) The only problem that did occur was the 95% stuck loading glitch that plagued us quiet often. We just stuck to doing Dynamic Events since those don't require zoning. |

Global Agenda; one of my favorite games that I don't play lol |

Originally posted by Scot LoL avoid any game that people claim is a WoW Killer. On a side note; someone above mentioned this catering to casual gamers and I believe your obsolutely right. Almost every quest, warfront, invasion take about 30 minutes or less to complete; when I wake up I have 30 minutes before work and I still get a lot done in that time. As some others have said "Rift takes all the good aspects of MMO's and polishes them" It just sorta has a nice solid feel that I got back when I played DAoC (my first mmo) Rift isn't gonna really kill any game let alone the tyrant WoW (I doubt anything but VR could) but for people who enjoy it it'll be worth the time and money. Also as Scot said pre-ordering isn't usually a great idea especially if the game manages to allow a free-trial or a buddy code system like most others upon launch. (Hints partly why game's offer pre-order items and bonuses) |

Originally posted by marzatplay Unfortunately my small little review doesn't do the game justice. I Was iffy on buying it; it definately is a great game and is practically flawless with little bugs or lag (if you have a good computer duh ;P ) but it's not SUPER innovative. The definite selling points are for some people the Class system, which is okay but I find relatively boring; and the Invasion system. I LOOOOVE the invasion system. The world of talara feels so alive and dynamic! It's so fulfilling to defend a town or help destroy a foothold of an enemy invasion! Invasions and the ammount of polish this game has are the main reasons I pre-ordered it. (That and the TF2 items ;) ) Others may disagree but I feel there's a lot of play time in this game and at the same time you feel like your making a lot of progression. I've spent the last 3 days playing a toon and only got to lvl 20 out of 50; but at no time was I bored or felt like I was just repeating the same stuff (althought you basically are) Crafting, Invasions, Quests, and PvP its all fun. The only thing I'd complain about are the dungeons. I only did one (Realm of Fae) and it was a little monotonous. I'd strongly recommend trying this game. |

One thing I don't get; it says that previous testers will be treated as VIPs; how will it know if i'm a previous tester because our accounts are gone? I had to make a new account for Grammingo or w/e and am just a normal applicant for beta. |

wow; I was in the CB before and didn't even know it shut down haha. Every now and then i'll think to myself; "I wonder if mytheon is still running in live" |

Thank you all for the replies. Because im tied down with a couple of other mmo's (DCU/Rift) I think i'll wait maybe a month or two or at least until some bug fixes are done and I'd prefer to play a trial hopefully one day before buying it. Overall i'm excited to play but I'll save money until i'm ready for it ;) |
