Guild Wars PvE is the best I've ever played (coming from someone thats probly tried 100 mmos). Given, you can 'complete' prophecies in 72 hours or less but the OP was correct to use it as the basis for comparison.

From the posts Im seeing WAR PvE seems kinda like guild wars in that when its good its good (PQ's) but they've added a lot of weak WoW content ("kill x of y") as a gap filler.

How many people are prepared to drop everything and move to NA servers?

NA keys are still freely floating around and im downloading the torrent ATM.

We dont have to put up with this crap - especially if youve not paid for pre-order.

I have a theory - GOA cant handle the bottlekneck (1/2 a million screaming users on a cheap and nasty server) so effectively they're just polishing a turd - this asynchronous technique has just moved the bottleneck out of view and created a feeling of momentum when somewhere deep in GOA are 0.4mil unverified beta keys.

You can tell from the tone of the CEO's apology that we are getting jack all.

If GOA were fire fighters defending a burning building then everyone in the city would be dead by now. Dont like my example? Some programmers write military systems to guide missiles, health systems to book appointments, robots that perform operations etc. Programming is not a profession where incompetence should be applauded.

How can it say validated but not actually validate? Seriously there's 'asynchronous' processes and 'fraudulent' processes.

How much can they insult us?

I dont want to be pedantic but its a huge patch! Took me 3 hours last time lol. I redownloads a large portion of the game. I get what you mean though, Planetside just lets you pick any server.

I left the US beta torrent going. If it finished before GOA lets me in then I'm just going to ebay my EU keys and buy US keys.

Its kinda conflicting because although I *hope* they're nice people with families that don't really deserve to lose their jobs you do have to hope that they have other skills beyond programming and project management since they suck at both.

Ryzom is pretty bland. Some nice ideas but the graphics engine lags to hell and the combat is so slow its excrutiating.

Beta is over for me. I dont think they'll get it working in time and I have to start considering writing off the money I paid for WAR. I will eventually play the game but I don't want to play it and only remember how much I hated GOA for ruining it.

This lack of HTTPS is disgusting. 1/2 a million peoples personal details sent insecurely across the internet. Some spammer is having a field day.
