I am. I'm playing rift super casual. Not jumping into it and rushing through. I'm level 16, just finished my first *extra* soul. I will continue to stay subbed with rift. Sick and tired of wow, though I will probably go back one day. |

And to believe I doubted Rift. |

I like rift. It's a good game. With that said, I do not understand why when I kill multiple things I can only loot one corpse. I know it's a small problem but it pisses me off when I'm farming sutff. I don't think this happens with quest items, but seriously, what's the deal with it? |

What server are you on? I'm on tearfall, my queues are usually instant or under 1 minute. |

Rift is very smooth. I love that about it. I like the quest also, the first time running through they're pretty great. They get boring the third of fourth time doing them. The souls. I like the idea of souls very much. Referencing from wow, you can mix a warlock, a disc priest, and a pyro mage all together. I like the variety you can make through mixing the souls. I like the quest. I've played Warhammer, and the public quest are similar but the rifts are step up from public quest. Rifts can happen all over and have a greater variety than PQ's. I like warfronts, as I have liked scenario's and battleground. To me, they're a fun way to PvP since it's generally fair. I like the world, a lot. It's rather nice. I believe the community is better than WoW's but that's probably since WoW has such a high amount of subs which means more asshole's and trolls. I seem to recall one or two trolls from Rift. What I do not like is only having one starting zone per faction. I believe they should change that so when playing new classes you don' thave to run through the same quest four different times. Overall rift is a good game imo. As stated already, I would be subbed and playing right now if gamestop had ordered my pre-order, like they're suppose to do. |

I also find the invasions awesome. I will be subbing to rift also. After playing wow on/off for the past 4 years I'm pretty burnt out and need a fresh new experience like Rift. I was really enjoying my Elementalist and probably will probably roll it at release. Though, I do wish there were 3 starting zones for each faction as going through those quest on my alts will definitely be boring, but all is good. |

General: Champions FFA & Age of Conan Rumors

Originally posted by Gruug Hmmm, What sounds more enticing? Come play our "Limited Play" game, or our "Free to Play" game. It is not dishonest since you can download the game, log-in, create a character, and play the game without paying anything. That is free, not if you wish to continue and play more at a certain point, or fit your character out in cool looking stuff then you have the option to pay more for that. |

Originally posted by TheFarseer , the simple fact that rate of growth dropped from vanilla to TBC then from TBC to WotLK tells you the story of WoW's slow death by Blizzard's damage to the game. WoW is not dying until the rate of growth dies. As long as it is positive it is living. And, of course wow is going to eventually start to decline, have you ever heard of a product life cycle? Introduction, growth, maturitiy, decline. |

And there it comes, difficulty nerf for heroics =) lol

Blizzard isn't your pal. Think of blizzard as a "landlord". You pay blizzard to play wow, you pay a landlord to live in an apartment building, Blizz notices something isn't working quite right and patches it, the landlord notices something isn't right and gets it repaired. |

Did you read my post? I thought it was simple enough but I am talking about player versus player. |

What's the hardest class for you to solo? I'm a frost mage, as of late it seems warlocks are the hardest for me to kill. They're just too hard to kill for me, they heal themselves for too much, I go oom, and die. Easiest for me to kill is probably warriors, I can tear their shit up. you guys? |

Computer Engineers, I need some info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am pursing a major in computer engineering. I would like to go to N.C. State for my education. Not sure if I'm going to make it.
I have a few questions about computer engineering though.
While reading up on the career, I read that math is not used that often. Is this true? And if not what area of math is used most often?
Also, while reading an article, it said that a computer engineering degree is only good for 5 or so years, after that most computer engineers become website designers. Is this true?
In your opinion, is it better to specialize on hardware or software?
What college did you attend? and what was your high school gpa, and sat score?
Thanks |

Cataclysm - Putting new meaning to the phrase "riding the rails"
General Discussion « World of Warcraft 1/31/11 9:56:11 PM
While I found the quest in Cata a lot more enjoyable, ( the throwing bears off the tree one is pretty awesome and you know it) it is indeed a little too linear. I seem to got lost in twilight highlands with half a level or so to go and only at 62 out of 90? or so. I couldn't find any more quest but I just dungeoned the last bit of it. I do like the fact that the game isn't on a new 5th continent. It feels good to be set back in mainland azeroth. I didn't like the new org at first but now it's pretty enjoyable. I have mining/skinning on my main and boy is it easy to make gold these days. I bought the 310% flying, 16k mammoth, and around 10k on gear. Heroics are a tad bit difficult depending on group. I'd advise not entering at ilvl 333, it doesn't work out well. Majority of dungeons in the first couple weeks either did not finish or took over 2.5 hours to complete due to wipes and actually having to cc. Overall though, it's fairly good. |

One man made a better game than modern day MMO companies make

Minecraft is one of my favorite games now. Heard about it at school and then bought it. I'm working on my sky city right now. The halloween patch is looking great. Can't wait to go exploring with the hell feature being added. |

This game really surprised me. A guy showed me a video of it at school and I thought the game would be boring and lame based on the graphics looking like it came out of the 90's. I played it a bit on the site and ended up buying it. The game is still in alpha but you can buy it and play it. The benefit to buying it is you can play online. The game basically starts you off in randomly generated world. You have to build a shelter that is equiped with torches so monsters do not spawn. At night monsters come out and try to cause havoc. The shit gets addicted when you try to build up some crazy shit. I just finished my underwater pyramid. Anybody else play this game? |
