Not really,  if you have the hit/focus required you won't get fucked with in raids because of low dps or something like that, which I find different from World of Warcraft.

The community in Rift is pretty good in my opinion. There are a few bad apples but not nearly as much as other mmo's I've played.

You realize MMO's are about endgame right? You spend an hour in these zones.

Macros? Haha yeah I hated how Trion literally pointed a gun at me and told me to either macro or get the fuck out of Rift.

When doing zone events (pve) you commonly have to fight with opposite faction for boss, well at least on pvp shards.

PVE can make you better in PVP by giving you Planar Attunement, you continue to level after reaching max level. One of the PA trees is pvp. Each tree has three levels. 

But yeah when you're pveing you can enable pvp

Absolutely everything. I know that sounds like a copout, but I honestly can't think of a single aspect of Rift that met or exceeded WoW, except maybe graphics, on a high end rig. I dont understand why Rift fans get sp upset of the WoW comparisons. If you didnt want to play an MMO very simillar to WoW then you wouldnt want to play Rift. Sure there are some small differences but of all the games that have been called WoW clones over the last 7 years, Rift is the most simillar to WoW.

Sounds like you obviously haven't played rift.

Tell me, in WoW can you form a raid and go about the open world killing bosses that spawn all across the zones, at every level?  An unlimited amount of bosses? No, you can't. 

Hot damn, shouldn't have watched. Now I want to play the expansion promto.

I like to be able to just go out into the world and start a raid rift with my friends and guild.

The artwork in the game is very well done in my opinion. 

Artifcats are chill and keep me searching for them. 

The puzzles are interesting. The one in Stillmoor took me a while because the bats wouldn't go in their cages. 

Surprise to see people not include world events. Rifts each give 5%-10% pretty much all the way up.

Too early imo, but I will definitely pre-order this. Dimensions sounds interesting and I am more than excited to go artifact hunting in all the new zones. There will be so much to do and see.

My big question is will Instant Adventure be available from level 50-60. Instant adventure made me stop questing on my alt toon once i was lvl 45. Hopefully the option won't be there. Yeah, I know I don't have to do it, but when there's an option that makes you level up way faster than other ways obviously you'll take it. 

You could be caught up and raiding within a month of starting if you wanted. So I think it's worth starting as a new player. I'd join some leveling guild and just work my way up. Also, I'd level up on a PVE server and transfer to a PVP server once you're 50 (free server transfers), it'll make zone events a lot easier. My first character I leveled mainly through quest, my second character stopped doing quest around level 25%, they weren't as fast as dungeons/bg's/instant adventure at lvl45.
