Join a leveling guild. Find people in there to regularly group up with and you should have a lot of fun climbing to 50. Should take around 2 weeks to get to 50. |

You complain about how the content is unbalanced? Between leveling and end game? Not sure if you're serious. There's only 4 classes to level, takes 2 weeks to level. When you've been playing for 10 months like most of the people you don't really have options for leveling.
I got level 50 on my rogue alt a few days after 1.7. 1.7 is by no means a disappointment. My new level 50 can actually survive in battleground. Once you're level 50, you will really appreciate the new adjustments.
The new chronicle is the best one so far. |

Hopefully, trion doesn't increase the level cap. I want the content to go horizontal instead of vertical. I dunno if I they should add any more war fronts at this point. I hope they don't add arena and instead add a PVP zone. |

Rift is such a great game in my opinion.
Leveled a defiant to 50 mainly only my own.
Started new Guard characters with some friends who played other mmo's together, so the chemistry was good. It's a 100 times greater when you're playing with your friends. On my defiant, I tried joining guilds but it was always weird because I didn't know the people like actualy friends.
Rift deserves to live for years, until trion can make a rift 2 in the early 20's or late teens of this century. Not saying it needs one now, or they should develop one now, but I think Rift deserves a sequel. Maybe even a prequel.

Didn't think I'd like Istant Adventures much. But they're pretty alright afterall. Espesically when you're not feeling a dps t2 random que. |

Look at all these people making Trion out to be the devil because they're donating to charity. Trion has been offering this upgrade before the charity bonus, They're not obligated to donate shit, yet they sacrifice 10% of the money they're entitled to. And for the people saying "Oh they're not losing anything", look up opportunity cost, high school economics |

Rift = WoW + Invasions/rifts - Arena Rift offers more in my opinion. Not more raids/dungeons/zones but more to do Like say you can get together with a party go around zones doing different boss fights. These can range from 2 players to 20 players. I like getting currency and other useful things from closing rifts or stoping invasions. Crafting is pretty much the same, execpt what's nice about Rift's is if you're crafting gear, you can uncraft the gear and get some of the mats back. I know it's like that with enchanting/disenchanting in wow, but this how it is with armorsmithing and weaponsmithing, I imagine the other proffesions in rift also provide this. The world looks sooo much nicer. The world events are usually just a grind for a new mount or planar essence ( type of gear ) |

New patch is well recieved. No complaints, pretty big patch, over a gig to download. New zone is pretty chill, huge compared to the other ones. I appreciate having 4 buttons on system tray instead of like 10. Overall, pretty good patch. Last big patch for a little while I believe they said. 1.7 isn't suppose to add new content but tweak the current content. Good job Trion |

Make sure you back up your world. I lost m'baby once, months spent on that map, logged into minecraft on a different computer and wiped my map. Or so I thought, now that I think about it, I could probably go back to through the directory on my machine.
It's fun if you get into it.
As always, it's more fun with friends. |

But their demographic is mainly 20+. I haven't ran into many other high schoolers or lower in Rift. |

MMOs are sort of tiring me out, but i'm still subbed to Rift, as it's my mmo noww. I've been playing since like day 3 or so, gamestop fucked my pre-order up. I took it verrrry slow and casual, got to 50 after like 6 months. Some weeks I didn't even play, towards the end when I found out a friend had it, and was higher level I started to put more time into it. I like Rifts, they're chill. They're better then Warhammer's PQ because there is more variety and more rewarding IMO. I like being able to group up and do a raid out in the open world, not having to run into an instances. Warfronts are nice, however due to the great difference between a rank 1 and 8, you'll get crapped on. Macro system is done very nicely. Scenary is amazing, absolutely amazing. I played wow for 4 years, and I'll probably play it once again, however I don't plan on canceling my Rift sub anytime soon, unless they stop putting out these patches. |
