I, for one, am against having the monk as a purely martial arts profession.  Swords, perhaps, are not befitting of a monks' reputation.. claws, staves, and spears seem more sensible from an RP perspective. I am, however, -against- pure fist / martial arts melee!  In a prior MMORPG [Anarchy Online] the Martial Artist bore the full brunt of a broken no-weapon attack system.  Damage and Attack Rate gradually scaled as the MA increased in level, but never scaled as fast as others able to over-equip and upgrade to new equipment in future patches and expansions. If it were possible to be done correctly, a martial arts monk would add style to the profession, but there are serious concerns about such a profession keeping pace [having a unique, defined role] with all weapon-based profs

I accidentally bought the wrong type of mount, and couldn't sell it back.  When I went to the auction manager (in GreyRock), that was the one item I couldn't put up for auction.  This might be different with the new beta version (0.5), but I haven't checked yet

who the heck are you?! when did these ideas become yours?

werent you born into america not too long ago... werent you then a new life...

did some weirdo with patriotic views burn them onto your mind?

that idea you stated isnt america... it is something else.... maybe human rights or something

your patriotism makes me sick

"house the idea of america"

freaking disgusting.....

righteous would be something to tout.... not your disgusting pervesion of human rights and american way

anyway...

that idea you were touting is righteous.... not american.

....sick to my stomache with country lovers and lovers of country... or people who pretend not to love a country but tout some idea as an idea of a country... bleh.... ...sorry, brede, I just got emotional : P

and couldn't even make a solid point out of it.... sigh.....  i need more vocabulary

America isn't a place, rather it's an idea. An idea that one owns one's self, one's labor and time as property. That no other may seek any portion of it as their property without trade. Yet, today, that idea is out of fashion, it is considered old and tired, and some even claim it's impractical. But ideas like these don't really die, they simply find new minds to inhabit. For me it is sad to say that those that claim to be Americans don't house the idea of America anymore. And to me, they are the ones who are dead, not the idea.
