The game looks and plays like a game my 10 year old sister should be playing. I wish they would combine the gameplay of WAR with the Visuals of AoC. I'm not a big fan of the trolls and all that bull. I loved AoC until it got really gay. If they could mix the style of AoC with some gameplay like WAR and WoW they might have a kick ass product.

The only cartoony game I loved was The Realm... may that game rest in peace. Greatest MMO ever. Had community, economy, fighting, grouping, PvP, pickpocketing, you name it. :( I miss The Realm.

Watching some open beta videos and looking at screenshots I realized that this game looks EXACTLY like Oblivion for the Elder Scrolls series.

Seriously go check out some oblivion videos and look at the characters and landscape. The only difference I saw in the 2 games is the combat system.

Therefore I think I am going to like AoC cause I loved Oblivion.

Set your graphics to low and you will be fine.

Set your resolution and your graphics to the lowest settings. The game will run fine and you can see just as good. So shoot me if the game isnt fucking high defintion, badass graphics, and perfection to the eye. The game is about gameplay... you can see and play just the same on high graphic settings as you can on low graphics settings. If you want to play just tone all that bullcrap out and get you some action.

25 bones a month is way to much... thats just a fact.

I really hope it isnt going to be that much money. The community will not be very big if the game is that expensive.

Does anyone know what the monthly subscription cost is going to be?

If it is actually 25 bucks a month then I'm dissapointed and wont be buying this game I've been waiting for cause taht it just WAY to much money for a video game.

I miss The Realm days when I could play 4.95 a month and play a great game. Video games should not cost 25 bucks a month.

I actually went back and played the free version of The Realm not to long ago. The trial was fun but your lucky to get over 200 people in the server most of which are maxed lvl players who just get on to chat with friends or have built such a fortune that they just dont want to give it up. I dont think many people actually PLAY the game anymore. I loved it though and would play it again and again.

The gameplay was of course not like todays games but I still enjoyed it more than most of these games that have come out. Gameplay is extremely important but I think most MMORPG fans will agree with me when I say Fellowship and Adventure are the 2 most important things in an MMO. It is what keeps people playing the game after you have gotten burned out on the gameplay.

So I have been reading on the forum for quite some time now and seeing everyone talk about Asherons Call which was one of the best games ever made and I had to stop and think about the OLD OLD days. The first MMORPG ever made if i'm correct was The Realm and by GOD did I LOVE this game.

Man I miss the community and the adventure that this game had. I remember when 6,000 people on at once was SOOOO many. It was a lot of fun getting to know people and using the community with trades and such. I mean who remembers using MM's to do trades. THATS COMMUNITY. You would go on global chat and ask for a trusyworthy Middle Man to do a trade for you and HUNDREDS of people would vouche for certain people. Or even the magicians who were already kick ass and high lvl. They would sit around and enchant your armor and swords for you for free just to be nice.

Boy do I miss playing this game. I even remember when I bought my first Wrath back when the lvl cap was 100. Hunting in groups to go kill the cyclops in The Killing Fields or taking a group of people down to fight Baby Dragons lol.

And i'll never forget the Cyclops dropping an Executioner the best weopon on the game and I got the drop :D

The Realm and Asherons Call by far the best communities and the most interesting adventure games created.

I loved Asherons Call. Man... you guys are gonna get me in tears thinking about this game. I used to own my cousin without mercy... then we would run around the PvP server and try to dodge archers and see who could live the longest. 

SOOOOOO MUCH FUN.

They have footage of the game on YouTube... if you are somewhat intelligent you can see which are legit videos put together by actual people who have played the game.

I watched 3 tutorials on Mounts, Rangers, and Melees that were phenomenal. I also saw 2 or 3 legit Pking videos even though they were extremely low lvls.

I just finished reading over all the potential MMORPG's for me to get soon. As soon as I saw AoC I didnt even continue looking. This game is unbelievable. I have watched Beta on YouTube and everything and this game BLOWS all the others out of the water. This game will be so big it will be as if WoW never existed. (And yes I was an avid WoW player and loved the game... sometimes anyways.)

The most rediculous game I saw was Warhammer Online.... HOW in the world would that game have hype? Did anyone see the PvP videos... hahahahahah complete joke IMHO.

Finally a game with REAL people and REAL combat. No more fake fantasy BS and no more auto attack bullcrap.

#1 reason I know I will love this game = PvP and PvE is gonna take some SKILLS... The way it looks in the PK videos the person with the better gear doesnt ALWAYS win like in other games. So much skill is gonna be involved here and that is what I LOVE.

#2 reason I know I will lvoe this game = The community is gonna be spectacular. Interaction with each other and hunting and exploring this HUGE world with your in game friends will be a blast.

I am so psyked for this game to come out.
