im a pve fan, and yes i know all mmo have pvp.

could this game be fun for someone who likes only pve.

i tryed lotro but its just slow.

I have been reading the Aion forums from time to time and read many oppinions on the game. However I have the impression that the playerbase is slowly being reduced.

When Aion launched it was hailed as one of the most polished MMO releases in a long long time and the fans were besides themselves over how good it ran and how much fun it was.

Nowadays there is not much positive feedback. From what I read Aion has a couple of problems

1) Grind - many enjoy it, while even more people hate it.
2) Bots, hackers, goldspammers, etc aka - illegal activity.
3) Poor customer service
 

Now my question to the community is:

Will this decline stop? And if so, how can it be stopped?

I never understood why mmo players hate the grind..

the grind what makes a mmorpg, if you want a make toon to go private servers

Looking for a free2play pve game. I been searching and searching but all i see are "pvp in this game is good/bad" threads..lol

I wont be playing this game. I enjoy pve/lore, thats just me.

have to agree with the pvpers that dont like grinding tho. if you going to make a game most focused on pvp then get rid of lvling or make it faster.

is Aion more focused on pve or pvp gameplay? or is it balanced? 

As many others im just sick of WoW, the boredom and the ease they made it for the kiddies.

No, I mean NO mmorpg doesnt have grinding.  Leveling is what makes it an Mmorpg.. ppl who cry about grinding/leveling are the ppl who just want to pvp simply put..  If you dont enjoy the entire gameplay dont play mmorpgs so play a private wow server and just gank ppl . its that simple

I come from wow, quit over 2months ago.

I have been looking for a f2p game to play, i notice most of f2p has cash shop and been reading some games are depending on buying items at the end game.

So are there any f2p games where you can play just fine at high lvl and have fun with out having to buy items.

If there were 2000 horde on one server then there would have to be no more than 100 alliance on that server.  I somehow doubt that server exists.

Total Alliance: 24,493 - 75%
Total Horde: 8,017 - 25%

pvp has more horde

pve has too much alli

update: got a champ up to lvl 15, and a captain to lvl 10, im liking the captain a bit more then the champion

Figure we will decide out of Brandywine and Elendilmir.

Now for the race/class choice.  I figure i would roll a Dwarf Minstrel while leveling together with my friend. As for soloing when my friend isnt around I am unsure.

Hello All.

My buddy and i are quiting wow and heading over to LOTRO.  We are looking for a good pve server with a good amount of players.

Would it be wise to play on a high populated server or mid range?

This game isnt that bad. World is small for the amount of players and figuring out where to go do your quests at isnt easy but other then that its good

oh and the auto patcher seems to break alot

so many ppl still judging this by the release..  and still read the forums about think there is only bad news from ppl that dont play and they trust thoses ppl, but yet they need to find out for themselfs what has changed
