Grrrrrr.  Apparently a lot of users all over Europe are having the same issue.  I have raised a ticket and I will cancel my pre-order if they don't sort this out pronto as it will give me a clear indication as to how good NCSoft's customer service skills are.

As far as i know Fileplanet betakeys are for NA only

Im not sure how gamestops codes work but amazon's preorder will sent out codes each monday before next beta

which means if you order today you will get excess to the next beta and not this one.

i prepurched today aswell but on the plaync site im still DL the client but dont know if i can acces yet.

maybe its best to ask gamestop about it as it seems to work differently for some shops

what does? if i read tons of posts here, that  a game needs a gazzillion subs with a million servers all full otherwise it is a fail.

i just post my experience and i can say that Warhammer is very playable. i dont claim all servers but hey even mighty wow have crappy servers amongst them

I have discovered that by level 10 and that is all I need to make up my mind. And if it changes for the better at level 20 or 25, that is great....but as said, it is BAD game design. The "better" should be introduced early on to "hook" players but it isn't.

Like AOC did the first 20 levels?

You dont need an expansion till atleast 58 so with or without the expansion except for some crafting proffesions nothing changes.

you can still use all the expansion items etc found in ah so dont need the expansion to fully enjoy the game till 58-60

Not by a long shot, the XP goes from

lvl 30 -6k xp-

lvl 44 -70k xp-

That's over 10 times as much xp in 14 levels.

al i say is that most experience in mmos come from killing stuff and not quests.

if you need to kill lets say 20 wolfs which give for example 600 exp means 12k exp and the quest itself give 6k exp, to me thats 18 exp from that quest and not 6k

so to me that chard proves nothing.

if you make a chart of almost every other mmo out there you wud get roughly the same thing.

Most quests involve killing stuff and killing stuff alone give more exp then the quest you finish with it

You always grind be it with a quest or not, every quest you can finish with killing stuff is bonus.

works like that in all quest based mmo's

So that chart to me still dusnt proof i cant reach 50 by just doing quests.

Who says they are hiding stuff, they just test what they want to test still 3 closed and an open beta to come and none knows what it will bring yet

The problem is will EA let them in the coming years.

Recent stats Pheace showed that of the 15 US servers 5 of them were med/med. 10 were Low/low and that means simply - in War terms - unplayable.

On Xfire the last days WAR didn't fall anymore, leveling out at 2.3 K Xfire players. Related to the figures in the past 9 months and viewing the ratio with the 300K known subs of EVE, it would be leveling out now at around 150K players.

That would mean they need to distribute the players to 75K players US and 75 K players EU. So regrouping the US servers to around 7.

Perhaps with 7 US and 7 EU servers the costs can be controlled to keep the game going for EA.

 

Who cares what Xfire says i dont even use Xfire i speak out of experience rather then bland figures without even playing the game. war also have more subs then 150k.

But reading your posts you only get a hardon on WOW's subs so im not taking you so serious anyways.

As for OP i played both gw and wow and its hard to pick one as they r both good games

if you want to  play it just for a while with some nice pvp from the start id choose gw over wow any day

lots might not agree but i found the PvE in GW rather interesting and good aswell, Some missions are one of the best pve experiances you can get but thats all based on own opinion ofcourse

You simply have to breach the equilibrium by NOT copying the same game.

 

 

 

And how was WOW new in everything they did?

They copied all the good parts from all mmo's back then, they even copied the whole ip from Workshop and see how that turned out for Blizzard,

Also the true real strenght of WOW is that it runs on every pile of poo with a keyboard stuck in it. Where as AOC and WAR requirements are way to steep to rake in millions and millions of subs

WOTLK made me buy WAR btw so it also works the other way round

Yes, we met ingame 5 years ago moved in together 3 years ago,got our son 2 years ago and still going great.

No probs with it at all, I met my other half in an online game.

The nice thing about it is you talk so much through msn or in game that looks dont really matter at all anymore, mind you she does look good though :)

5 Years further now and we have our 1st son together and doing great, and indeed as said before i can always toss on a game as we both love gaming.

I guess you still have to becareful out there though coz indeed everyone can pretend to be someone they are not but that can also happen in a pub, bar etc. It can be tough at 1st but if you both go for it then nice things can come out of it :) and distance is just a small obstacle.
