I think they both look horrible....

Empire city was doing well but I hate all the fog and the generic feel of the place, I want character and not the same pregenrated building pasted all over the place. Also all the bars look esactly the same on the inside which is fine throughout the world but in one city place you want them to look abit different inside with different looking NPC's too. Even the bar that was meant to be different shaped as a boat was the same generic feel on the inside which is a disappointment.

The Chaos city just looks dated and nasty, not really what I would imagine a Chaos city to look like really.

one realm has a stealth fighter that can backstab with a 2handed axe!!

another realm has 3 stealthers, an assassin, a stealth archer and even a stealth support class!

WOW does stealth the best IMO because it never made it sooo fun with both Druid and Rogue.

It's Star Wars so the story will suck as bad as all the others :S Cheesy everythings will workout for the best endings and some of the worst scripts ever made and frigging sooo predictable.

I bet the film is actually like that trailer lol where theres like a few words and then it moves to the next scene. What I hated about the new films is the bad script and the acting from hayden christen.

Atleast Anakin is played by sumone different though lol.

Just asking cause they look kool.

To be fair they did make the Pre-CU game which you obviously loved, without them you wouldnt have had it at all. You should let it go because not letting it go doesnt achieve anything since every MMO company knows (many times over) that to make a mistake like the NGE is idiotic and doesnt work.

 

The game was developed  by Verant Interactive Inc. and$OE rushed it on the market to make cash without  respect planned game features being ready or not ..

Wasn't Verant Interactive the name of the company before they changed the name to SOE? I thought they were just the same people but just had a name change....

SOE still launched SWG a buggy mess and made changes we didn't want during beta. They just kept ruining it as time went on and for me the NGE was the final straw.

No cause Rogue is a high DPS close ranged melee and Shadow Warrior is a long ranged bowman so he's basically a Ranger.

I just couldn't stand the character movement and animations or the character models, thought it was all very poor. Also the UI just didn't speak to me, it looked nearly as ugly as the NGE UI for SWG lol. I didn't like how theres only like 4 races and you can't play like normal and quest as the other side, sure theres monster play but it's just not the same. I hear what they're saying about it not fitting into the lore or w/e but this is a game and it's a bad idea to follow the books that closely as it flaws the game.... you don't make a movie or a book based on a game faithful to it because then you wouldn't really have much at all, just feel that not having the 2 factions really hurts the game.

I loved alot of the features like player housing and being able to look different to everyone else with clothes over armor and the SWG styled image designer thing so it's a shame the game just wasn't any good for me. I think I knew I didn't like it withing the first 10 seconds though when I saw the horrible character models in game and the horrible running animations and the UI and all that stuff so it ruined the rest of the trial for me really.

It's a shame how theres not one good mmorpg out there, I mean why can't they make the Half-Life of mmorpgs like the next big revolutionary high quality amazing game, instead of the same old crap all the time :(

You mean you can actually find enough people to raid on Vanguard? When I played that game I saw like 2 people the whole time I was playing in that barren boring world it has. The game has the worst Art i've ever seen and the worst lore and I LOL'd really hard when I heard some of the voice overs in that game.

Vanguard is what people with no talent make.

Well you wont ever get a group at that level anymore so you'll be solo grinding in the most boring zones ever made!

Then WOW obviously it has the biggest community and you'll always be doing raids instead of waiting for people like n EQ2. Also they have a more handcrafted feel on WOW and just more polish and quality and fun than EQ2. Plus WOW has great art and better graphics than EQ2 which has bland plastic generic graphics.

I was sad to see TEF gone but all the forum crybabies got rid of that and they even stopped decay from happening in the NGE too. I can't stand game forums just full of people who want everything to be easy and when they die they start crying about it.

I played EQ in 2000 and thought it was crap personally, mmorpgs today though havn't moved on from them EQ days and the ones that did have been ruined.

Both are nasty.... wy not just drink a nice pint of Guinness?

What do you want? Best raid in EQ2, Best raid out of EQ2 & WOW or WHich one is better WOW vs EQ2?

I expect the game to launch looking how it does now and if it does then all of the WOW crowd will stay with WOW and this game willl just attract DAOC fans.
