My problem is that some games has higher needs of voice communication than others, so those games got a higher % Xfire users like Vrika posted above.

Im a bit to games like Seinfeld is to dating women. Always notice the flaws that to some people are meaningless, but for me they can ruin everything. I get turned off and start look for something new.

Point 4 and 10 dont reach my top 10 list, but I fully understand what you mean. Instead I would go for:

4. CashShop with P2Win model (Buy the best armor and 200% xp potions for RL cash)

10.  Games with Leet-kid-community where all you see in chat is WTF, LOL, ROFLOCOPTER, PWNZOR and you receive a duel request every 5 minutes.

Downloaded installed and started character creation. I had already decided on a ranger MALE but I had no chance of locating the gender option so thats how I found this thread..

At the state it was when I left I got some major doubts that I will stick around for long. But never say never :-)

Why does it not have 12 million subscribers you ask? Because not everyone is willing to give a sci-fi game from 2001 with below mediocre graphics a try. And not everyone like to think when playing a game.

The population is low, but not non-existant. Im in the same guild as the OP and there are always many people online.

The other day I was gonna reactivate my second account, and with 5 SOE accounts i managed to reopen the wrong one. So instead of making me open a third account they transfered all playtime from the wrong account to the right account. It took 1,5 day, alot faster than no support.

There are also 2 upcoming big updates for Vanguard in develeopment. First one is to arrive soon.

It has been said before, if everyone that ignore Vanguard because of the population started playing again, they would have to open a few new servers.

The new game director Lindelu is supposed to write her first letter to the community at end of January. I guess that will contain plans for 2012. Its not long ago since they showed us recent pictures of the engine, and it looks sweet.

I am certain Anarchy Online will survive for a long time. It got dedicated playerbase that will stick around no matter what, just like Everquest and Asherons Call do.. Difference is there is no other games like Anarchy Online, so you got no alternatives. (Dont come here and say SWTOR)

Imagine how many threads we would have if everyone quitting would make a thread just to inform that they didnt like the game and quit.

To me that forum seems to concist of mostly hate threads from people that dont play anymore. Would be kinda weird if they actually let people advert for a negative forum on their own official forum..

If you have played UO and EQ and liked those, you will def. love Anarchy Online.

Easy and essential to get a group. Lots of content and you are not dependent on quests.
