Overall I found the only reason I couldn't get myself to continue playing VG was simply the lack of a playerbase for an otherwise amazing game. I wasn't even bothered so much by the bugs in the game at launch to tell you the truth. They were expected, as every MMO has them. With that said, I recently found copies of VG on Amazon for under $10, and have ordered 4 copies for me and 3 friends to play the game together. |

As stated, pretty much any ska band. As an alternative, Sonic Boom Six, a band from somewheres in the UK is an awesome Reggae/Punk/Ska/Hip-Hop combo with some pretty sweet horn action in a lot of their songs. |

Wait a second... Has there ever been an MMO that DIDN'T have good random item drops? |

I doubt they'll do any of this. Otherwise there would've been an oldschool SWG server up long ago. |

Generally as long as I have at least SOME fun with it, I'd consider it worth the purchase. There have been few MMOs that kept me for over that first months subscription... I played The Realm for 3 years, AO for about a year, and WoW off and on for 2 years. The only time I'll consider a game not worth the purchase is when I install it and find a huge steaming pile of shit installed on my PC. |

Could any of you Ron Paul cultist nutters please provide one link... I'm just asking for ONE... That gives a description from Ron Paul on HOW he's going to execute all these wonderful plans he's got. I could run for president and promise everyone free everything forever, but without a plan to execute that, the only people that would vote for me are the people that are voting for Ron Paul in this year's election. And to those of you jumping on the "But he's such a good man" or "I trust everything he says!" bandwagon, that most likely (we've seen it plenty before) that he's just a good politician. Not "Good" as in he does right by everybody, I mean he's just good at what he does. Its just like sales... I can rip you off and make you leave my store thinking I gave you a fantastic deal, and you'll refer me business later etc. etc. if I'm good at sales. Politics is the same thing. |

It amazes me that someone would make a thread just to ask this question. Simply go to one of hundreds of gaming websites, or google for that matter, type in Mass Effect, and voila! You have the answer! |

Originally posted by h00ligan182At this point I'm pretty sure the only 2 real reasons that people don't play VG are A: Bad launch B: Nobody to play with I tried VG just a bit after launch and thought the game was really good looking and fun to play, despite a few bugs that are to be expected in a new MMO (nothing gamebreaking I might add). The only thing that made me stop playing was just the absolute lack of anyone to play with. The world being so massive actually worked against them in this aspect, as there are somewhere in the realm of 20 starting areas, which can definitely make a game that had a bad launch seem pretty desolate. I'm very confident in saying that once VG gets their trial system in place so people can try out the game without paying at first, the game will make somewhat of a comeback and be viable to play again by then, because there will finally be people to group with. |

While I certainly think Tolkien was one of the most creative writers of all time, I wasn't a big fan of his writing style, always seemed kinda dull. There are other fantasy novels I enjoyed much, much more than LoTR. I did enjoy the movies though. I still want Jackson to direct more horror movies. Dead Alive 2 would kick some serious ass |

Well for one he's never said a word about HOW he's going to do any of this. No plans laid out that I've seen. All it is is empty promises unless he can give something concrete, or even a theory for that matter. |

When I go back to visit my hometown me and a buddy are going to go skydiving in memory of a buddy of ours that died in a plane crash a couple months ago going to go skydiving. Was his favorite thing to do. I've never been. |

Yeah Killer Klownz is classic too. Gonna have to find that DVD sometime. I've been sick and doing nothing but watch movies for the last 2 days. Haven't spent this much time on the couch in ages. Mostly just horror movies So far its been... Boy Eats Girl -Typical teen zombie movie really, but still decent Altered - Surprisingly good alien flick Freddy Vs. Jason - Well I think everyone but me had seen this one already Halloween 2007 - So much better than what I'd expected from hearsay. I love the way Rob Zombie actually gave character to Michael Myers, the first hour of the movie with him as a kid was actually the better half of the movie Sleepaway Camp - From all the people suggesting this one to me I was really unimpressed. Shock ending maybe, but still a terrible movie, and I still thought the ending sucked Survive Style 5+ - Not a horror movie, but an amazingly awesome Japanese movie all the same Silent Night Deadly Night - Alright oldschool slasher starring a kid in a santa suit! The Bone Snatcher - Slow paced but decent movie about a monster in the desert. |

Anyone know any good zombie books? It seems so few horror novels are on zombies and its my favorite horror subgenre. The only one I've read in recent memory was Stephen King's Cell. |

Well since EA owns Bioware now, Id just go ahead and expect a mediocre game (although heavily advertised) with TONS of in game advertising. Yup I'm real excited for whatever comes from this. |
