someone mentioned "Perfection", and i think this is also an interesting topic. If you try and imagine perfection,you first few steps ususaly dont involve adding anything, it most likely involves removing things,major things, such as pain and fear, and also lesser things like boredom and lonlynesss. I know that there are things which could be added in persuit of perfection, but if you realy think about it, by the time you truely achieved perfection,theres a good chance you would not be aware of it, because it could very well be beyond "existance".  My point is that perfection could very well be the abbsence of everything, i know that sounds negative, but its logical. If u cant think or feel, how can you determine wether there is anything better or worse?

There once was a show with two Wise men, Beavis and Butt-head. During one of there deep debates about the consistancy of "coolness", Butt-Head says 'If everything was cool, how would you know what suck's?"

I have thought about your exact question a few times, and its important to realize any answer is speculation. However, at 1 point in time, i assumed that when god was creating human nature, he eventualy created doubt, id imagine the creation of something that is counter productive to faith, would lead even God to further explore and understand it. It may sound insulting to god, to say that he wouldent fully underatand his creations, but if humans are some sort of perpetual learning experiance,then its a perfect environment for seeking answers that require almost limitless data from a constantly reproducing source of variables.

If there is something God ever encounterd that he truely dident fully realize, that would be an unintentional creation of doubt.

Keep in mind that i had this thought a long time ago. and i have sense then, changed my view, and i simply respect god as existing beyond religions, or any form or origin withen human comprehention.

your point about gods role in creation is the main topic obviously, but my point was that many people here bash the Bible because they feel it to be Fiction, yet many of those same people could read a book that is clearly intended to be fiction, for example, a Star Wars book, and find many philisophical and relatively productive lessons withen it. What im saying is just because you dont belive something, dosent mean there isent something to be learned/gained from it.  And yes i belive you are correct that its outdated, i am also of the belief that it lost any hope of being gods true word, when thousands upon thousands of people re translated it, across different languages, codes, fragmented sources etc. which in my opinion, made it more of a "heard it threw the grape vine" final product.

As far as the role god plays in the existance of everything from the start, you have to look at 1 simple question. WHAT IS THE VALIDITY OF COINCEDENCE. Because our existance for all these years is based on such a fragile balance of countless factors, it all comes down to if you belive we are the outcome of 100's of 1000's of aspects of existance, all falling into place perfectly, and staying in the balanced co-existance long enough for life to evolve to the point where we can actualy question it.

Fact is nobody knows, and im pretty sure no extent of science will ever prove god dosent exist 100%. So that leaves room for alot of speculation, such as

1. If God exists, and created eveything, what was before him, and/or how did he come to be.

2. If the answer to #1 turns out to bethat god was created, then does this mean there is more then 1 God?

3 If the answer to #2 is yes, then the same querstion could be repeated to the next creater infinatly.

The Bible basicly says that your faith should be enough, and that gods existance is just an understood logic that is and always will be beyond us, and ironicly it also teaches that curiosity can be our calamity "towers of babylon" . I was raised in a Christian house hold, but i have also been raised to question eveything, so the final product is a limbo realy, i believe in the nature of good will, and i think all faiths ultiamtley strive to strengthen unity and peace, yet my questioning these things usualy leads torealising religion at many times, achieves the exact opposite.

The thing i find most repeated here, is people avoiding all the lessons in the Bible, and just pointing out all the things that seem fictional.

Sometimes you have to make something more apealing to the mind, in order for the underlying lesson to stick, and eventualy sink in.

All the resistance to a book teaching simple ethical, and philisophical foundations, is widely condemned for simple aspects that you would overlook in any other situation.

Persoanly im very open minded, but when i see people dismiss the bible, entirey becuase they feel its fiction, i cant help but feel, that such shallowness, dosent effect other oppertunities in there life.

Sun Tzu tought that people should know there enemie. I bring this up because theres more to that advice then just understanding your enemie, its about learning and understanding things you are completly against, and gaining knowlege, strength and wisdom and maybe even common ground.

strange, i dont remember having any of those issues lol, and i dont even have a torrent program, the only issue i had was haveing to make a new email because it wouldent except hotmail.

the problem might not be your card, it could be a bad ram issue. I have run the game on some pretty old cards, and it works fine, even though the specs recommend much higher, bought to try it on a gforce 8600 now, should be major improvement. Also, i have used both ati and nvidia for about 6 -8 years, nvidia has always run my games without issue, aside from the 1st dual monitor card i got, i burned that out in a few months of abuse ^^. But if your crashing during wow, then i dout its your card, that game has way low specs.

yes, i cant belive that game is free, its better then some of the p2p games, they dident even list it in the "best free mmo's" list in the new pc gamer, thats just crazy imo,

i love the cutsomization, and the movement...and the pvp options, hell i love the game in general =p

1st, ive only played this game in beta, and it was descent.

But the aura around this game reminds of of another game, Asherons call 2. (DUN DUN DUN)

I remember when ac2 had little to no publicity, yet had a pretty constant flux of subs, and the population wasent horribly low, for the 1st year it was even quite abundant, and content updates were deliverd consistantly every month, yet all this was masking an impending doom.(ac2 had server merges then shut down completly,1 of few sub. games to be completly shut down)

I may go back to TR, i have considerd it a few times, especialy with my new pc arriving this week,however, i dont want to establish myself on another TITANIC, you know, this wonderful ship that seems cool and amazing, but then sinks all of a suden with no warning. I am only posting my paranoia based on what seems to be a 10/1 ratio of bad vs good posts among all the online gaming forums and magazines i read.Once again using ac2 as a refference, it had better reviews, and less public bashing, and it still tanked, keep that in mind. In the end income is the final factor, regardless of what people say on forums.

well i posted this same question on the SOTNW official forums, and someone mentioned checking my rez.

Well once i figured out that there was different options in the updater config screen, i noticed my rez was realy low,so i changed it to my natural widescreen rez. and it helped alot, the text is still there but now it takes up much less space.

the fact that the updaters config options has different options then the in game vid options was baffling,and i litteraly discoverd this by chance.Yet another 1 of the small design choices i find strange in this game.

the way i see it, aslong as people are concernd about coutesy, it will exist. In WOW i treat everyone i meet with respect, and try to do what i can to help the lil guys. I have recently started a guild built on the simple grounds of  unconditional respect and help. At times, i do still encounter immature people, regardless of there IRL  age, and yes some people do use mmo's as a way to be a pain in the ass, due to the environment having basicly no real world consequences, but i have also recruited some of these difficult people, and with patience (extreme) , and the unconditional respect/helpfulness i spoke of, they can be converted, but some are hoples and thats why /ignore function exists.

Overall, id say 8/10 people i have met in WOW in the past 14-16 months have been very plesent, respectful,helpful. And the annoying people mainly seem to be stuck in a void that reaches no further then the 1st 10-20 lvls. I stick to a theory i spoke to some friend s about, which is simply, People who act stupid are exactly that, stupid, and this will keep them from progressing in the game, so the further you progress yourself, less and less idiots will keep up, untill u are among only the leet, but even then some of them will embody a totaly new type of rudeness, but its less common due to higher lvls reputation gradualy effecting there end game oppertunities.

im playing sword of the new world, er granado espada,whatever the hell its called,and i noticed that the system msg's and the chat text apears 2 times, once in the normal chat box, and again, for some annoyingly irritating reason, in a boxless area on the left side of the screen. I cant find an option to turn this pointless annoying left hand syste/chat text off, on my 19'inch screen, the text manages extend almost 1/2 way across the screen, and obstructs a good % of the environment, and im not talking about floating text,ive already turned that off, which was an equaly annoying text feature. I most likly woulnt return to playing this game if i cant remove the pointless 2nd chat, sense it ruins the immersion of the game,and obstructs a good portion of the fancy graphics.

thats what i read,this is 2nd thread in a row with same theam, they want something that dosent exist.

o and exsteel is basicly a fps mmo, which he said he dosent like. i know it sounds crazy, but WOW is more action oriented then the games u listed, sense line of site is required to attack, but thats a $15 a month game, not free like the others u mentioned.

i played lotro for a short time and eq2 up to lvl 55,i will never go back to eq2 , but im already planning on trying lotro again.

eq2  was descent, but the main thing that made me hate eq2 after only getting to lvl 55( berserker) is the loading zones....if i wanted to load something everytime i moved id play diablo2 LOL, and the graphics always botherd me, you know that sienfeld episode where they say that chick "looks very attractive sometimes, but in certain light she looks horrible", well thats what eq2 reminds me off, it looks good, but something about it is just off.

the last, minor detail that bugged the hell outa me about eq2, my armor was the exact same shape from lvl 1-55, it just changed color,i know u have a apearance tab, but i  dont want to look like a different class, and i expect to look totaly different after 55 lvls, not just  a new color.The same for the wep's, same exact graphic, just new stats, thats extremely lame.

well dont use my 3x sub. example.That was just an extreme side of the spectrume, and i used it to further prove that 50 cents a day for a game is nothing.

I guess the only thing u should ask yourself is if you realy have time to invest in an mmo, because if you realy do, then subscription gaming is the way to go,and well worth it. Have you ever stopped to think why 98% of f2p games are junk?  (i play a few of them, but only during p2p server maintnence =p)

just like most people have already said,$15 a month is 50 cent s a day, u could pay for that with the change u get back from your mc donalds value meal.

i am currently paying for 3 different mmo subscriptions, even that is only $1.50 a day, i spend that much on a bottle of water, and a bottle of water only lats a few min LOL

think back to the days of arcades, you would drop 50 cents for a few min of gaming, and it wouldent even save your progress or allow you to start back where u left off when u descided to play it later on.

personaly what comes to mind when i hear people gripe about subscripton fee's, all  ican assume is that you have a realy tight budget, and how you even afford internt boggles my mind,or a computer that can run the game for that matter.

try perfectworld, its has a very indepth character creation system, even more so then games like everquest.

the movement system is awsome, double jumps,flips,flying front handsprings 0.0.

there is also a pretty elaborate pvp system, u can open the map and switch to a view which u toggle between environments or territory pvp control overview.

the questing is descent, and it has built in directional guidance to help you find what your seaching for,and the graphics are just crazy, i seriously cant belive the game is free, and so far i see no need to use real money, but i have yet to reach end game.Id post a link but im feeling lazy, you can find 1 on this site im sure.just be sure u have a email thats not hotmail, it seems u cant register with a hotmail email.

it  says on the site that they want people to register, and that the beta started again yesterday, but when i try to sign up, the page just reloads, and it dosent say any of my info is inccorect, it just reloads the screen and keeps all my info as i typed it. I dident see any simmilar issues spoken of on there forums,anyone else having problems signing up?
