Well why not? keep the people you dislike off your server. You dont have anything to lose from it except that the game attracts a wider audience which will just make the game more popular.

Who do you think will pay in the end for the aditional server?

Most likely the players that enjoy that kind of server, getting people into and used to a game can later make them convert to play different kinds of server. You seems like a really narrow minded person honestly, cant see or accept any other opinions than your own.

No, we will all pay for it, because it won't be a separate subscription for a full-loot server, will it? I can't believe I even have to explain this..

In L2 you can loot from PvP, under a certain condition, with a probability. (Or at least you could before F2P.. I don't know now.)

And as far as I know, in EVE, the looser from a battle has the "full loot" part (he looses the ship completely), and the winner has the "partial loot" part, as in he can loot some components, but a low ammount from the complete item.

As people said before me, you should have researched the game and what it's about, before complaining.

L2 was always open world PvP, and yes, you can get killed everywhere outside a town.

I wouldn't call it PvE unfriendly, I mostly do PvE, but hell, my Destro can take care of bussiness if someone bothers me.

Actually, I don't like factions. It's plain dumb to have to kill someone because his name is red.

I like the Lineage 2 aproach, where I can kill anyone.. but I save it only for a-holes/wars.

From the start, I will state that I don't like the SW universe. At all!

So I haven't even applied to the beta.

That said, I have played in the past few days Skyrim like an insane person would. Hours upon hours. And the voice acting is just another thing that keeps me in the world, instead of just clicking walls of text.

In an mmo... mmm, I don't know how it will be, but anything is better than going to a quest-giver, clicking 3-4 times through a text and just looking for the quest requirements and reward. THAT sucks!

And there I was complaining that Rift was incredibly fast to be done with (after reaching cap in about 1 month). I have the feeling that the people that complain about too much time for lvl cap are the same that would just buy a max lvl from a cash shop or gold seller.

It does not matter right now, actually.

WASD movement has been greatly improved in upcoming GoD expansion :)

I have used the WASD...for about 10 seconds. It was not working right. But yeah, they may have been working on that for GoD.

I have to say that the char creator is dissapointing, below Champions Online. Way below it!

The gameplay though, is pretty nice. Not extraordinary, but something new to chew out of boredom.

I have played L2 for several years (on private servers, with very low xp, I confess). I never had as much fun on anything else MMO, and I am tempted by this... maybe.

While the "15-20GB standard" is pure bull****, 14GB was unexpected for me.

On the other hand, my first computer was an absolute beast with 32MB of ram. Do you get where I'm getting at?

I will assume you're not, hence the thread. Tech changes, software takes advantage of the tech.

Damn... I kinda hoped I could play in the char creator before sleep.
