I just wanted to add that if you had actually PLAYED runescape instead and looking at the screens and saying "OmGz zE GrAPHiCZ SUXZORZ THIS GamE SuX!!!L0L11!Z!!1ZZ1z" You would see that Runescape quests are some of the best of any MMORPG. Even though I think Jagex sucks. The writers they have are very very good and creative.

To other people who say runescape isn't a real MMORPG like Kyleran then I say Define MMORPG. Actually look it up then have someone smack you across the face for being so dumb.

Very true. The graphics aren't really what made the game crappy. Although I do wish that the graphics were significantly better, particularly the way the character look. The players in that game look like crap. Anyways, I think it was the growing gap between Jagex and the player community which contributed greatly to the downward spiral. That along with Jagex's stubborness and silly attempt to control RWT and the economy. Jagex is a control freak. Thanks Jagex for ruining your game.

Jagex has failed miserably with all the updates they have released since last year. Honestly I don't care what they do anymore either. I wish I was rich enough so I could buy the company and fix the mess they have made. Summoning was a failure along with all the other countless failure since last December. I dont play the game anymore except for holiday events which is my way of hoping that they sell the company and someone fixes this mess.

I completely agree with everything you said. The community has pretty much gone to shit and its all Jagex's fault. It's not only the immature kids that bother me but the wanna-be mods who and people who are defending Jagex and thereby contributing to the restrictions and lack of freedom in the game as well as on fan sites. Fan site are overun by administrators similar to the incompetent Jagex and player mods in the game. Its very dissappointing. The community used to be somewhat decent even if there was scamming and cheating, in my opinion its just gotten worse.

Well I'm not sure who is responsible for the cruddy updates. But if i ever met him i would tie him up, cut him with a knife, squeeze lemon juice on the cuts, put a sheet over him, wait for his cuts to heal, then rip the sheet off so he bleeds again. The put him in a room with a thousand bees and hang him over a fire, but not burn him. Just make it so he boils. Then go out with his daughter and break up with her on her bday. Then i would take naked pics of his wife or girlfriend and post them on bestiality sites and all over the internet.

I think summoning could have been one of the best skills if Jagex had made it the right way. The way the implemented it was just unorganized and unoriginal. I hate most of the creatures. I wish they would make the creature more useful in combat, like make them able to fight in non-multicombat areas. I also wish you could ride some of the creatures, and I wish they added dragons.

Yeah I agree with you completely. I'm only lvl 37 but it still takes me about 3 days to lvl. I do have a life so i cant spend all my time training just to lvl. Im also kind of poor so im not going to waste my money at the cash shop anymore. I have spent a cent on the game since october last year.

Yeah I don't understand them either. It makes no sense. I suppose they are slowly trying to get players back to playing their game and hoping to RWTers won't realize that they raised the trade limits.

Yeha cause showing fuzzy math on the internet makes you cool. lmao. but seriously I do think that jagex's player count is a bit off. anyone ever seen the player count above 500,000 back in the good ole days. Well i have and technically its not possible since each server has a 2000 player limit.

Yeah I agree. What's the point of risking millions of coins when you only get like 10 to 20k at the most. Its just not worth it.

It has and you have probably been playing a really long time, when you invest a lot of time into an mmorpg its harder to quit, do what I did and play less and less time every time you play.

Lol that's what I have been doing. Playing less and less. I admit it was and still is hard for me to quit but honestly I really don't play as much as I used to. Now, I might only log in maybe twice a week at the most. When I do log in its usually only for 5 to 20 mins at a time, so I barely play anymore. All I do is play  clan wars in f2p or talk to friends lol. Being f2p helps cause im not wasting money and it keeps me bored which means I wont spend too long on it lol.

Yeah I think its going to end bad too. Its just going to be a huge mess. Oh well, hopefully the halloween event might be okay. I have to get the holiday item and emote.

I would fire every single developer who took out the wilderness as well as fire the whole customer support team and hire new people. Perhaps that my idea is a bit extreme but it takes an extreme change to fix their extreme mess.

I think they do update it weekly, but its usually with small updates. I've noticed they usually have about 2 or 3 big updates a month on average. But I do have to agree that recently their updates are all half-baked. They are also targeted to kids under 12. I suppose they figured that kids under 12 are more gullible and therefore make up their best customers lol.

What I really hate about the items drop on death system is that it determines what items are kept based on high alch value not market value. They should be based on market value since that is what is udsed during trading now, so why not use it for item drop on death too. I died once and kep my cruddy veracs armour over my sara sword which really pissed me off. Luckily I got back to my grave in time, but still. They really need to fix this. I feel especially sorry for people with phats. Its bad enough for me having to worry about losing my Santa lol.

To put it simply, even though its been stated numerous times over and over again in other threads, is that I hope the game goes back to the way it was about 5 or 6 years ago but with better customer service.

But they also need to make the game less childish too. Jagex really need to shift their focus and attitudes because right now they are in "childhood" mode. Seriously, everytime I read an article on their mainpage it seems like they are talking to 5 year olds. What the hell Jagex?

I killed a highwayman as I was exploring the area around the draynor mansion. At first I thought it was another player lol. I was like " why the hell did i ever do to you?" and "stop hitting me!"

Okay if anyone knows of a free mmo please let me know. Seriously. I have like no money now to be spending on mmos.

Oh and if you don't want to subscribe to runescape try playing the free version. However, I should warn you that it gets really boring. The only 2 things that are remotely fun are clan wars and fog. Even then ur not realy having too much fun but just a little bit for like an hour lol.

Once in a while I'll check out runescape to see if its gotten any better but I find myself doing it less and less. I am just too busy with work and school.

So yeah if anyone knows a free mmo thats not too time consuming let me know. I tried maplestory, i found it fun for like a month but now i dont log in anymore. Darn patches take too long to download and there isnt much to do on there anymore besides grind.
