I agree when you say those games look like each other but that doesn't mean those games are the same ! The game has a other combat system, PvP system and many other things that difference from WoW.

Reason why those games look so much like each other is that Warcraft III and Warhammer had the samegraphical style when they were just RTS's.

Dofus online - One of the first(probably the first) MMORPGs with a Final Fantasy combat system.

Flyff - The first MMORPG wherin you can fly around in the 3D world!

Swords of the New World - The first game where you control 3 characters instead of te classical 1 character you control!

Voyage Century Online - First mmorpg wherin you can command ships !

I don't see why this isn't good. I personally hate training combat in mmorpgs that why I like games with a good crafting system and games where there are many other things to do then just grinding monsters and quests.

This feature will lure alot of new people, who have never played a MMORPG before. This is a good thing to the genre, but that's only the way I think about it! There will probably be some downside about it like the fact botters will be creating bots pretty soon, etc... I think we will just have to await the game!

So if you like Maplestory there is a new game that is just like maplestory. With just like maplestory I really mean just like maplestory. The game is called ghost online, I don't really know much about it but I'm downloading it now and I will tell you guys more about it soon.

In my eyes runescape really is ruined. Many of the great features just dissapeared. I think the main reason why Jagex did this is to make their game more open for younger gamers. By introducing the Grand Exchange system it's made impossible for smart players to merchant. Young players have no idea how to do this. Younger players might get lost in the wilderness and lose alot of items with the new Pk rules it's impossible to lose your gear. It seems like Jagex is de-adulting it's game.

If I were you I would choose Guild Wars if you play World of Warcraft you will not experience grinding by killing mobs but you will experience it by doing quests of the same genre over and over again just with stronger monsters. The WoW quest are like Kill 15 Ogre Gun Monster and receive  1000 exp! Or run to Ogrimarr Dungeon and give this letter to Brundon. You get the picture ?

In Guild Wars you are more following a story-line. You won't have the feeling you are doing the same quest over and over again like you get in WoW. The community ingame is in my opinioin worse then WoW but that's pretty logical because GW isnt P2P.

You could give Runescape a trry ! In this game there are many quests that don't expect you to use your combat skills. In some quests you need to craft the King a sword or you have to make a poison so you can heal a princess... If you know what I mean. The game has no download it's been played in your browser and still it's 3D. People whine about the community but if you become a member(P2P) you will see that the community become a lot more grown-up. Another game you could give a try is Mabinogi, but if you aren't american you won't be able to play. The game is pretty good and I think Mabinogi is the best new game that is F2P aswell this year so you should really check out that. If you aren't American you can still play it by using hotspot shield by the way!

Hmm, don't think they will add this game to the games list because the developement isn't far enough maybe in a couple of months when then closed beta begins. But for now I wouldn't hope for it. And by the way the game isn't called prison tale it's called pristontale with a T of Teeth. !

Looks awesome to me finally something else ! No more medieval fantasy / sci-fi / asian themed mmorpgs !

Hmmm, I don't think you can find a game like that lol. Or there isn't one crossing my mind at the moment. If I were you I would just pay 20$ to pay guildwars ! A great game, it's easy to become lvl 20 there is enough content for lvl 20'ers PvP en PvE!

On the P2P side, I would strongly recoomend Guild Wars as a very low grinding MMORPG with a very good storyline. Also DAOC may be something to look into as well

Hmmm, I'm looking at your list and I have to say somethings aren't right. Like the fact you say he got to try Holic online, holic online a brainless grinding game and I think Goonzu is a typical grinding game aswell! So like the games that are on your list I would suggest Dungeon Runners and Voyage Century!

I think infinity online is a game like that altough I didn't played it myself. And grnad chase is a game like that aswell I think but again not sure because I didn't played it myself.

There will be no MMO like that ever. People with start realising after a couple of years their graphics are getting bad when you compare with newer MMORPGs, many people will also say thay have already seen everything of the in game content. I only know one game that might do that trick and that's runescape. Developers keep updating the ingame content and graphics and that satisfies their community so... Nice job runescape!

You expect alot out of a F2P game. I think the game that comes closest to your requirements is Rappelz or RF online. If I were you I would just play WoW a great game wich fullfils your requirements.

LOL how funny can a post be, I love the fishing in runescape personally alot. Just click wait 5 mintues do some more clicks and wait for 5 minutes again !

There are many great games for people like you. You should you don't like raiding so I suggest you give Runescape a try. The game has a huge community altough most people there aren't adult. And if you're adult yourself I don't think you gonna like Runescape. Then there is Lord of the Rings online, I didn't played this game myself but I heard there isn't alot of raiding in it. The game has a good community aswell I think though I'm not sure about it because I didn't play it myself.

Indeed. Developers should realise the only thing kids like in MMORPGs is killing monsters and PvP'ing, and the easier you make that monster killing the more kids you will attract. A simple exemple: Runescape if you want to train your combat there you just have to click on a monster and wait for a while. Kids don't mind grinding and doing the same handling over and over again. 

If you give kids a difficult game with alot of things you can edit. Like games where you have to spend your ability points or your skill points. I don't think kids like crafing either. All these things kids don't like I love. But because developers have to earn as much money as they can from a as huge as possible community why shouldn't they put in features kids like. Because if the kids play that's just some extra cash for them and since kids are very impulsive the friends of kid A will start playing thet same MMORPG as kid A.
