Well, that's too bad for you but in my opinion this game isn't that graphic intensive, it is just like most of the other free2play MMORPG's . If your computer can't run this game this means you should really update your hardware. The minimum requirements aren't even that high (512 MB RAM en 1.0 Ghz).

One server, multiple channels, which you can freely switch between. Then you can choose to be on a busy channel or a quiet channel, depending on your mood.

I agree with this, Maplestory has a feature like this implemented. By this feature u can join a crowded channel if you're in the mood to party, and when you would rather play on your own, you can always decide to log on to on of the less-crowded servers.

Well I agree with the OP.

The game really looks great and it offers quite a lot of content, especially when you consider that the game is free2play. But in your post you say you don't like games that involve a cash-shop, but you do have played maplestory, in maplestory you can really buy some major advantages. For an example you can buy double experience scrolls which gives you ... double experience. And most other items you can buy in the maplestory cash-shop do offer you a great advantage (pets, tele-scrolls,...).

Hi,

Well I choose for multiple servers. Because in some games you already see that there are too many people playing on one server (waiting for mobs, lag in towns, ...). And that really sucks, it drains the fun of playing a MMORPG.
But on the other side I also agree with some of your points. Sometimes (in WoW) you really need to wait a long time till you find yourself a decent party to party with.

Make pies of every kind and sell them for a good amount depending on type of pie (level 51 to 138)
Black Dragon hide (level 80 to 138)

euhm, I've just found quite a stupid mistake... But the max level for each skill is 99 so you would need to cheat to get a skill to level 138.

But I think this guide is quite bad, there should be more details and those ways of money making aren't the best out there.

Hi,

I would like a European (EU)scroll of ressurrection, if someone could send it to me :). My account name is "phatpete", and my email adress is peter_dilles@hotmail.com.
Ooh yeah, I'm pretty sure I will subscribe again so you'll get a month of free play :).
Cya in WoW

The graphical style looks really awesome. It looks like the game is directly ripped out of a comic book. And the storyline looks pretty intresting, the races and classes do so aswell.

I might even give this game a try eventhough I normally I don't play isometric games like this but this looks really great. Can you tell me something more about the actual gameplay? Is there a lot grinding in the game and how are the skills? And does the game feature a crafting system?

Hmmm

First of all, why did you post this in the Open Beta discussion board. You should have posted it in the Scions Of Fate subforum. Then more people would be willing to help you.

But for an answer on your question: you might want to check if your numlock/capslock is on. Otherwise you could just try to make another ID, or you could use the Recover last password feature. That might be usefull.

I totally agree... The Grand Exchange update really changed the whole daily life in Runescape. I remember the drop parties, always crazy fun, telling people you would drop a dragon chain xD. And then there were the 100's of people that were shouting what they were selling at the varrock bank,... aaah good old days - before the Grand Exchange update- ...

I totally agree, I started playing this weekend and the players are so freaking helpfull, if you want to add me, my IGN is phatpete, see you ingame :).

Agree with poster above, you can try Runescape and Mechquest and there are a lot of text-based mmo's out there aswell but I don't think you're looking for them. So you should really try Runescape, a great game if you're new to mmorpgs.

Hmmm,

You could try Ryzom. A great game and I'm currently trying it and I think it's free2play till the end of Octobre, this is a great way to see if you want to keep on playing if the game goes back to P2P. The game really has the best crafting system ever and the PvP is quite good aswell I heard( haven't been doing PvP yet ).

Hehe,

Good old days. I also remember most of the great updates but then they made some mistakes in my opinion. Like the PvP updates, I really miss the Pk'ing with some friends and the Grand Exchange, another one of those  lame updates, no more "becoming rich by merchanting".

New game, REPLY!

I don't really think that Atlantica Online is the game that you are searching. The gameplay is pretty slow because of the battle system.

If I were you I should play EVE online, since this game is something different and if you are willing to spend some time in it, the game is a lot of fun. The theme is completly different then most populare MMORPGs, so that will be a pleasant change.

May i ask you what lvl you got to?

Hehe, I havent played it myself, I just read some of the comments on the game, one of the frequently used comment is that due the turn-based system the game goes pretty slow.

free ya right

Agree, on the 9th of Octobre the second Closed beta will be launced. And think they gave away another 30.000 keys so if you're lucky you will receive one.

On the 9th of December the Open beta will be released and on the 25th of December they game gets its official release.

This is a Good project and you had a great idea.

This are questions i would add:

Does the game let you built your house?

Deas the game let you personalize it ?

The " bank" of your item is the house ; and can you own more then one?

In the RVR can you conquest outpost of the other faction? If yes , does the outpost give you some benefict for construction or trade skill?

Is the istance the main target of the game or is just a second way of lvling?

Are the istance a number restricted place or a free for all place without any limit of player inside?

Is the loot gived to the first one that loot  or just following other rules?

Can you vote with a ingame system for a Mayor of your faction?

are the item soulbound or can always been tradeble and useable

Are items that suffer damages been repairable? and if yes repaiting them will bring them always to 100% or just to the lvl of the repairer , and the item will ever suffer a permantly lost of % that you wont be able to repair

Are you always in a starshipe or you play olso as a person?

Some of those points I really like, but other ones just seem useless to me...

-Does the game let you build/personalize a house.
-Are the items soulboundable, or can they be traded.

Hehe, Qazza

You might love it now but when you reach level 20 you will see how boring the game is. It's always the same: get your quest -> completeyour quests -> grind till the next level -> get new quests ->...

But if you don't mind grinding this might be a good game for you, and they have pretty intresting updates coming up so this is actually a pretty good periode to join the game.

Its not THAT bad, but they just kept adding more and more stuff and kinda made it silly. At least through my view point... but im one of those people who pay to play so i prefer wow or war

I really loved all of those updates, when I was at school I was always thinking what would be the next update when I got home...And I also loved the "update-timer", everyone got full of excitement. And 5 minutes later everyone is talking about the new update. Aaah good old Runescape days...

Well, the site is offline so I can't download the game and try it out. What I can't understand is why the developers have such a crappy site, I mean com'on how much can it cost to get a .com domain name and keep it running.

The game is also pretty unknown, even google doesn't know about the game. If they would buy a normal .com domain name, more people would get  to know that game.

1) Darkfall
2) Earthrise
2) Aion

I've put Earthrise and Aion together on the second spot sinceI don't really think those game will do something new in the MMORPGworld.
