Hi,

I haven't played 9Dragons yet, and I don't have those intentions. But a game with a great clan/guild-system in my eyes is Guild Wars. The great thing about Guild Wars is the fact guilds can buy Guild Halls. If you got a guild with a lot of active people in it, you will always be able to do something fun in the Guild Hall. You can do a little PvP match or talk about your latest adventures. Your guild can also purchase updates for your guild hall. Like new vendors, bankspace...

Euhmm...

Yeah It looks a lot like Harry Potter. It even tastes, sounds smells like Harry Potter. And it's really created for kids around the age of 10 - 14.

I don't really know what to think about it. But it seems like a fun mmorpg to me. Alot of fun feauteres the graphics aren't bad either.

Things I think are needed in mmorpg's:
1: A good combat system, not something like WoW where you just push right-click do some special attacks and wait till your mob is dead.

2: A great crafting system. I think you should be able to craft weapons/armours that have equal or even better stats than those who you can find in raids.

3: Some other fun skills: like agility, cooking, mining,...

Maybe you should give funcom some time. The first few weeks of a release are probably the most important ones for a developers. If now already the community of AoC would start whining alot of people would just stop playing AoC. So you have to understand this is a critical phase for funcom. The only thing you can do now is wait and post your complaints on several big sites.

You could give Dark Age of Camelot a try. The game has a decent PvP system and the raiding system looks alot like WoW.

"Start the flaming", why should people flame about that. It's even a good thing. WoW is the mmorpg many people start with. If WoW gets 10.7 million members, it means that they will eventually get sick of WoW and want to try out something new. If WoW wouldn't be made the MMORPG genre would be alot smaller than it is now.

It may be a strange opinion I got but I really loved all the skill you could train in the browser game Runescape. You really had the choise the what you were going to do. Oke I admit training your skills there was pure grinding but it really gives a good fealing knowing you're a really good craftsmen!

I would say DOMO or Mabinogi, two games that are free to play with a pretty good crafting system. But Mabinogi is only for USA players.

I think everyone is forgeting about GW, the game has a great grouping-system aswell. As soon as you walk in to a town where you have to do some missions you will find players with an icon above their head you just have to ask if you can join and most of the time you are allowed to join.

Yeah many people see Runescape as a piece of crap game. But it just has another market in my opinion. While WoW is aiming on people who are 16 years and older, Runescape is aiming on a younger croud(10-15 years) atleast in there F2P server, when you play in there P2P server you will notice that the community goes up a couple of years(16-20years). And one of the reasons aswell why Runescape is so popular is the fact everyone can reach the game. You don't have to buy the game, you don't have to pay a monthly subscription, the only thing you need to play Runescape is a browser .
