So word on the street is that this game has open world pvp.  so count me in.  but does anyone know the specifics of this or could you send me a link to where this is - im having trouble finding it on the site..

 I have to say, I was not that impressed with Mass Effect.  A lot of talking and little doing.  Don't get what everyone enjoys about this game

 Yes the game is worth a try.  I just downloaded the trial and im having a blast.

Im extremely impressed with the game so far, and as for the graphics,  hell they look better than half the games coming out today.

 haha it looks like crap.  WoW looks better on my 3 year old macbook than this game looks. haha

 Im not just playing devils advocate, but I would have a very hard time imagining Guild Wars 2 having comparable PvP to DAOC, having played the original Guild Wars with its... well, less than perfect open world PvP  ;)

I dont think anythings been promised yet, but there seems to be some speculation  :D

Is it open world or instanced, etc..

 Why is it so hard to find a game with good open world pvp?  Is it not an MMORPG?  It seems to me that at least a decent amount of people in these Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games would have an urge to hack off some heads without having to queue for a battleground.

To the best of my knowledge, there are only 2 games out of all of these that have even decent open world pvp.

1. Darkfall - the one character per account thing absolutely turns me off to this game

2. EVE Online - too claustrophobic.  i cant just sit in my spaceship all day

Does anyone know of any other games still in existence that offer decent open world pvp or are we doomed?

I tested out his game with a buddy key, but god damn the graphic engine was terrible.  My computer can run AoC at almost full graphics, yet in this game i was only able to play at minimum graphics, which, by the way, looked like a choppy version of runescape.

Have they changed this?  I see people wondering why more people are not playing this game, but the truth is that it is the graphics, at least from my, and many other people i know who have tried this games perspective....

 completely agree.  imo thats what killed AoC

The point that one character per account is important in a FFA pvp game makes sense, but why dont they just  say you can only have one player per SERVER?

The reason I ask is with most mmos i share an account with my siblings, and this would definitely be troublesome for me..

 I tried this game a while ago (maybe about a year) - i love everything about the game... but the performance was just terrible.

I have a decent computer, I can run AoC with almost full graphics, but for some reason I just cannot run this game.  And on low graphics this game looks like the biggest peice of crap I have ever seen.

Have they worked on this at all?  Or is it still basically the same?  I would really love to play this game, but god damn. haha

From what I've read, if you play now its pretty much -quest until 80- and THEN group and raid..which to me seems like it would make you very ill prepared for group/raid.

So it is too late for newcomers to progress and gear up now?  And when I mean gear up, I'm talking about all the COOL stuff lol..not all the boring looking 'greens'.  I'm a fan of exaggerated armor design..but if its too late, I will wait for Aion.           

Hell fricken no!  Dont let anyone tell you otherwise.  I know plenty of people that have just started now and are having a blast.
