I gotta agree that we have more than enough fantasy games, and personally I'm really sick of seeing them... But the gameplay in CoS looks so promising that I'm willing to overlook that and give this game a fair try. It'll just be refreshing to have a game that'll make me think hard about my strategies for once, instead of simply using the knowledge I've acquired from the dozens of MMOs I've played previously. Simply the fact that the AI will be so sophisticated (really hope it'll be as good as they say) will add a lot to this game that other games don't have. |

Every monster, every Non-player character (NPC) has a purpose in the world, a life, goals, movement. Some of these NPCs become your friends and enemies… not everyone’s… just yours. Monsters in Citadel of Sorcery move through the world on their own agendas and logical tasks. They may be building up their forces along the No-Man’s-Land border for an assault on a Town, and the following day that assault will commence. Or, they might be a raiding party that is out burning farms and killing the local population. They might be abducting people to turn into their own kind, or building a foothold in Citadel lands. I recently played CoV for a bit and loved it... would have sticked around if there was a big enough population but, the game itself was really enjoyable... I'll definitely give this game a try too. |
