if you dont have a perfect group, you will most likely lose. Your knowledge of the class will NOT change the flow of the battle.  Without support of others you are pretty much worthless. I'm all for grouping, but this is just BORING.

Working with what you got will get you nowhere.

 

This game reminds me of Team Fortress 2 where classes are very limited too. But TF2 is fine because you could change the class any time you want. In WAR, i'm already sick of my class being forced to do ONE very specific thing after lvl 5-8.

I know why devs have done it the way it is. To make huge rvr battles more balanced or something like that.

I guess the game is just not for me.

there are ALWAYS powerhouse classes in the low levels of every MMO

now give the melee dps their nice higher level weapons and watch them cut through that BW like butter

btw i have played a BW up till 15 and they already start dying alot quicker at that point than pre 10...as melee dps gains better weapons > clothies get owned harder > everything balances out..

no game is balanced at level 9......even look at WoW 75% of the level 18-19 twinks are rogues and that is not by chance...

every "massive" loot bag i have got had an epic (purple) item in the bag, as well as a blue and usually 3 greens to pick from..

i have got 3 toons to level 15 and have seen already close to 20 epics - just from Public Quest bags..

not sure exactly how it works, but it does indeed work

most time when i am doing a PQ with a couple good tanks - one of them is always top 3 for loot...

the thing is you can tell this game is amazing because the only thing people complain about is being bored

Heh I did too for 2 years...then realized they recycle the same models/skins/ideas over and over for every bit of new content released..

With a company as sucessful as Bliz they sure know how to not be innovative..I would bet my life that they end up stealing WAR's ideas like they did in the past. WAR in the long run is going to kill this game. Yes, some old players will stick with WoW but new players WILL NOT choose WoW over WAR. It is like someone saying "hey man..you want a free 2000 mustang or a 2009?

The game is old and boring and just like crack, some people I suppose will always be hooked. Quite funny to even compare WAr and WoW in the way you did..which was indirctly saying WAR wasn't good enough for you to play for more than 30 min..

I would also like to say this game is amazing...I have been in beta for a bit now and I am blown away..

Amazing PVE - So much to do you feel overwhelmed in a good way - PQ's are friggn narly..

Unmatched PVP - and by a mile...PVP is this games selling point and it delivers 1000% (like aoc tried to do but we won't go there)

Amazing UI - Took the best from all the UI's around and added their own elements and feel - Best UI of any mmo on the market...

Amazing World - Larger than any game I have ever played and not by a little..The attention to detail is also amazing

Amazing Story - Every quest has a link to some part of the story and if you want immersion - you got it..

This is coming from someone that has played just about every MMO on the market and has max level raiding characters in EQ1, EQ2, Lotro, WoW, and AoC

If you didn't already buy it what are you waiting for - this game is and the place to be. I have already met a ton of nice people and the community is nothing less than amazing as well..

but i can tell you - magus out of all classes is gimped
