I allready cancelled my SWTOR, and went back to Rift 10 days ago and for me it was the right thing :D

Havent looked back for a second, Rift is like the Borg "Resistance is futile !"

I havent bought anything retail for my pc since Burning Crusade :D

Funny most Mercs in my guild are healers not DPS´s, so is mine... I can kill almost any class solo np being a healer...

And that is probably why they run away against a shield spec Vanguard with armor and damage mitigation cranked up. You can heal all you want, but tickling your apponent in PvP isn't exactly going to win you a one on one. Thier damage output just doesn't do enough to counter my defense, and to get right of my (not great) DPS they have to stop attacking and start healing, puts them on the run everytime.

 

Sounds like your on a server of wow kids or jsut noobs then :D

Umm, seeing as how 2/3 of all players on SWTOR servers are jedi/sith I'm not sure this is the class you mean.  :)

 

I am one of three sith mains in my guild, About a quarter Agents, and half bounty hunters, I would say 3/4 of the BH are mercenaries. (I did say mains, there are loads of sith alts. =) )

SWTOR will not include pandas :D  ( i hope :)

Buy a year of WoW sub and get D3 free, and then u have to sub to play D3 online aswell so they get you paying double subs nows thats bussiness :D

For those mac user who wants to play a MOBA game just play HoN its free to play better graphix and runs on PC - MAC and Linux, its that simple

They would have been a much bigger succes if they started with a sub-plan instead of silly korean cash item-shop :/ i played the game in closed and open beta and i were so dissapointed they went for cash shop style ruined a good game that were good enough for Sub imo...

The mighty WoW aka ever-grind ruined the pvp scene alot IMO. And the "kids" who only played wow and think its the first mmo ever, sadly never tried any good/fun pvp and all the can relate to is the instances fixed same 4 pvp maps in wow. And those map type pvp bgs i sadly being copied by alot of mmo´s now, because if they wanna snatch some wow players they need the same bgs as WoW because thats what they think is pvp :D

Before WoW we had games like daoc, lineage ultima online with good pvp...

I have played mmo´s for 12+ years and no newer mmos have had any pvp that could match those old pionering mmos that started the whole genre. ATM i play Rift the game is nicely made, bug free and has alot of cool features but i was sad to discover they copied all the wow BGs also :/

IMO the mmo´s who has some potential in some kind of world pvp should have BGs also, preferred bgs like daoc has, not wow type bgs. But they should remove the bgs for 45-50 if thats max like in Rift ex.

You might want to look around for the price G-Potato are pushing for their items in their item mall and how they will be needed in-game. You will probably retract your comment about how free this game will be and how polished is DDO... compared to Allods online.

First of all we havent gotten our item mall YET ! Us EU players are getting it sometimes this week. And the priceing aint set for us yet, if you read the EU website news you will learn some more about that.

And you can easily play this game without the need to buy from the upcoming shop, if your a casual player like me...

Well most games would be best suited with the pvp model that daoc uses (best pvp type to date imho). then all types of ppl could play on one server :D
