Wow, why? Becouse mine friends all in there, and i miss them more, then any coolest game play any game can offer me, thought AOC could not even offer that...

Ofc i tryed UO,EQ2,Vangueard,EVE just recently, but nothing can hook me up, even wow is not hooking me up anymore, its just getting routine, i whant a game that i finnaly can beat, not just do same stuff over and over.

Big hopes for Diablo3, and thx god its non an mmorpg.

In all honesty, I think people are tired of paying for games to get the issues "ironed out", myself included.

I mean, look - SWG has been out for like 5 years now, and people say it's pretty much in the best shape it's ever been in.  Personally, I would be inclined to agree with this.  Do I play the game?  No.  I quit when the NGE hit.

My point is this - if you are developing a game for 5+ years, and then launch, and your game is just getting "good" after 5 years of Live service... then something is wrong.  This is exactly where Funcom is heading with AoC.

I for one quit playing this game a month ago, and haven't logged in since.  I only just now cancelled though, but because I figured I would play it on a rainy day.  But... we haven't had rain here in 2 months, so I don't suspect I'll be needing it any time soon.

Lol m8, had same thing, i played a bit, then just stoped, but did not cancelled. Thought i will play it when wow server have maintance. But it did not lasted long. paying 12eu per month just for having it on mine pc... nah, not worth it.

p.s. yes yes i play wow, and i am not proud of it, but it gives me daily portion of drugs i need :D

well, i have to admit, vanguard does have moust mature and helpfull community. It was now, and it still is.

Thought i started now, and i still get that very hard chopy fps :(.

That sence of big huge world is kind of cool aswell, but confusing aswell, you dont know which zones are for you, and which are not :(.

Anyway i will still give a game second wind, thought its not about a number of pleyers, but quality. Btw when it says low population it means low population atm, or a number of active chars for thise server?

<Mod edit> I did played it a little bit. And quited, now i finded out about that free month, and i installled game last night. Made a new char, wood elf warrior on pvp server, and on Xeth or how you call it.

I dont troll, and i ask about game becouse i whant to play it, not becouse i whant to say its shit. Thats why i ask, do people still playing it, when i tryed it first time, it was not that bad on population side. So when i log in now, i see different picture...

i just came back for that free month, trying to give a game second chance, thought i cant see anybody on eu servers, all 4 servers population is low, and there is dead silence in general chat....

Is it so bad?!

So how does it work in vanguard? like in wow and eq2? you got skills to train, and then some unigue feets and talents?

Thought i played it maybe 4 months ago and i still could not play properly with quad6600 3gb ram and 8800gt, is it better now?

I tryed alot of games by now, thoguth i am getting so sick of it, and i play wow only becouse one of mine friends playing it, thought he plays it aswell becouse i play it :D.

Btw to get that free month do you need still log in to SOE and ectivate acc, or is it auto?

To be honest.... i am happy its an non-mmo game ( diablo 3 ) . Becouse i really whant an rpg which you can finish, and have life! I was a huge fan of mmos for a good time, but i got sick of it :(. If you whant to finish mmorpg - you have to have no life.

Like in wow, you whant to go end game, you have to be a guy living at your parents house basement, having no job, no life, no woman. Just play wow 5 days per weak, atleast. Geting sick of it...

Hmmm looking at graphic... Well it is dissapointing a bit, in all vidoes there were no shadows at all! They really could do atleast a but better in graphics, thought everything else looks hot and sexy allright.

Thought i newer judged game by its graphics, gameplay is moust inportnat thing in mmorpg, but nice graphics are spicies which make it better!

Thought alot of poeple who have low ended pc will be really happy, they wount need to spend 1000eu+ 50eu( for a game) to play it  

1 question........ If someone will whant to play it on "xblender" they will have to pay "xblender live"+ sub for AoC.... That sounds..... bad......

Anyway i will get it on Pc , deffenetly.Thought i will really whant nice graphics, so if they will downscale it to xblender lvl, it will blow big time.

And anather thought now, there is no keyboard on joysticks, so how will you communicate with someone? voice chat? How it will work? If i just meet someone outside town, or i just go to market and there will be about 20 poeple? or if i whant to sell something in chat? Imagine gold sellers shouting on it then :)

Anyway, bad idea...

 . UO has allways 2d graphic, some poeple love it for it. Some poeple hate it ...

But moust important thing in UO is community, which is  mature and non-jackass, i ever seen in mmo.

Thx for support and understanding guys. I am really sick of that english teaching topic :( . I allways get 5 post about mine english and then (maybe) 1 on actuall topic. English grammar is hard! And i do my best with it, and there is no need to spank those people who  having english as second language. I newer used english in my family, shop, bank, post, talking with friends. I used english only when i was watching DVDs, playing games, and reading stuff on internet. I was very bad english student at school. Becouse all i had, was old fashion english teachers, who teach you on 15 years old program! not mentioning 15 years old books!

I learned my english on my own! thought i do live in Ireland now for 3 years. But that does not mean i am writting in it everyday here! I talk english, but i newer do any paper work. So my typing skills sucks big time :(. Just leave us alone!

Now someone asked me about UO experience after WoW. And i can say only good. First of all - community: mature, friendly, and moust important - RP!

I know i will sound fruity, but i really enjoy RP! It makes playing experience 10x deeper and more free ( gameplay style). When you RP Inn is actually an INN, where you meet friend, or go talk after some advantures!

When you dont RP, inn is just an biulding where you logg out...

I collect money on UO now, i whant to buy some land, and biuld 2 house property ( on 1 land). Make a pub as main biulding ( it would be our giulds pub, where we would meet after our advantures). And make a small workshop by it. Where i will put 2-3 vendors selling everyday items ( nothing major)

Now UO is really nice game, even after alot of vets flaming it. For me as new player ( i have no experience on old school UO) UO is prety much increadable game as it is now, and the only problem of its lower population then WoW, becouse it has no advertisment at all! poeple finding out about this game only from ather players or randomly on forums!

I did not enjoyed raiding and WoW carebear pvp. And to be honest... there is nothing to do if you dont like those 2.... Atleast in UO you can be who ever you whant. Not just tank,dps, or healbot...

go to the us server..that where all the euro players are..including me... :)  to got to the us server on the launs screen select English us for region select :)

Been happily playing on runnyeye for 3 years and i'm staying :)

yeah but you have a guild and high end charecters, its hard for a noob in the eu servers..the noob areas are dead

High end toons..all present and correct :)..not the guild though just a two man band me and my wife nicer that way no politics at all,if i do something wrong she wont let me get into bed

LoL! And i thought it will be good idea to get mine misses to play mmorpg! . But i guess its alot of fun! i hear alot of couples playing mmorpg like eq2 or UO.

Well i whanted to play on RP or PVP server.

I am starting to be a sucker for RP after UO . Just love it now! And i allways enjoyed PVP. But now.... theres only 2 eu servers :(. just simple PVE... ah well....

but anyway i will just play pve... what you going to do. So far i enjoy it more then i thought i will...

I just got game, and when i created my character, i was able to chosse only from 2 servers with med population. and they bouth simple pve ( i think ) .

like.... what the hell? i heard there are pvp servers and rp servers! i whant to play on pvp server...

now does it mean that i dont know something, or we europeans suck in eq2, and not getting pvp and rp servers....
