If your talking BBQ in general, I'm a fan of beef, but I eat a LOT of chicken and BBQ'd veggies.

We smoke our meat, yes get a chuckle out of that - I know I did, slowly to keep it moist and tender.  A la fall off the bone.  The sauce, if you need it, is added at the end.  Northern folks add the sauce to the entire deal, not just a little bit on top.  I don't eat the BBQ where I live now, it is swimming in all sorts of sauce and what not.  People just cook meat and throw it in sauce and call it BBQ here.

If you ever go to Kentucky, I can show you real Southern BBQ.

I saw something on the history channel once, something like weapons of star wars.  They were showing that it is possible to have a lightsabre weapon, encasing plasma in a magnetic field; but the machine that is capable of generating the field along with the plasma is the size of a warehouse.  It would need to be a magnetic field in order to work like a sword against other sabres and blaster shots.

So....you need to make a smaller generator and you'll be set.

Those same techs also said the same thing when XP came out and they were running 95 or 98, if they were even working at that point.  The only difference here is Microsoft is pouring the amount of money into Vista to make it workable like they did with XP.  They just jumped ship and started on 7.

The fat people cost more fuel to transport, more emissions and more fuels spent overall.  They also take more water to wash themselves, more food to feed themselves, more electricity to power their giant fridges and more fabric for their clothes.

They might not cause "global warming", but they do waste a lot.

I especially like the correlation to racism, quite a stretch to pull on those "shame shame RACIST!!!" strings huh?  Frankly I don't care who gets married and who doesn't.  Take a look at civil rights protests and then a look at gay rights, they are not the same.  Both are an effort to garner rights that have been taken away, one has to suffer and pay a much higher cost in terms of human abuse and loss of life.  Last time I checked, there wasn't an organization dedicated to the murder and terrorization of the gay rights movement.

Comparing the two is just a weak attempt to shame people into agreeing with you.  You are the judge afterall, we should look to you on what to believe in every social situation, right?

It's a well known fact that Conservatives (and the right wing in general) are trying to oppose those things I mentioned, saying that isn't true is downright false.

Go ahead and create a thread about Gay Marriage, or check out an older one. I can assure you that the vast majority of posters against it will be conservatives.
