Keeper2000: "You and others arent informing people. Just hyping. And you will be success! Many people will buy DFO on the hype and find it NOT to be what they were looking for." If this would truly be the case, then they deserve it, you do a bit more reasearch on a game before you buy it, and we are not really hiding the fact that it is FFA PvP full loot. And about the hype-meter this is how it works, don't blame the DFO community for "using it wrong" when we are only using it as it is intended to be used.. |

Ok, Fanboys, we get it: Graphics don't matter, but where's the gameplay?

You are (sadly enough) so wow'ified that you cannot even phatom a mmo without 8 hotbars, healthbars and floating texts. Combat in DFO (hence the UI) will be more of a FPS style not the wow-bash-the-button style. In the video we see the UI-several times, and it is very clean and nice, no clutter to take focus off the game-world. Take the shot of the bowman in the tree, you clearly see the cors-hair and the bar indicating how taught the bow-string is. My guess (yes guess) is that the UI will change dramatically depending on what you are doing, when fireing the bow you see the corse-hair and the power-bar, when fireing-up a spell it is something different, when using melee I would dair to guess there is no UI (appart from the corse-hair) at all.

There is no need to applogise, We happen to like the game of Darkfall, so we hype it. How do you think Warhammer got so much hype? Because more people know about it, and hyped it.. This is how the hypemeter is intended to work, and it works as intended. |
