If by big you mean sub numbers than it won't be by a company that is totally unknown. My money would be on WAR having the second highest sub number to WoW, and then when 38Studios finished their MMO, with the artist who does the Spawn comics among other things, and with the writer known as R.A Salvatore, it will likely be a huge hit.

Yea, Ive been waiting for both games since like 06. One of the good things about a prelaunch guild is you get a chance to know everyone in a non game envioronment. 

Which leads to bonding as well, and learning to play with each other in various games and you get to see each persons playstyle. It may sound nerdy but whatever, it also helps to build friendships. The Acolytes are a damn fine community and I have been a proud member since July of last year!

That doesnt make much sense. WAR hate has been around long before pre orders where even available. If Wrath of the lich king was being promoted as a CE with WAR right now it would be a close race.

 

Now to say people love to bash the next new thing thats expected to be big, yup thats pretty much it. Others bash without looking at what the game offers. Others bash it because they think its a clone. Others bash it because they are forum junkies and bashing people or things is all they know.

The funniest thing about it is, thoes bashing it will probably be playing it to.

It does make sense you just haven't seen it yet. I am not doubting that WAR bashing has been around for a while now ( heck, I used to do it on this very site myself and now look at me, buying two, TWO collector's editions )  but you can bet with the news of the CE and how well it is selling there will be even more bashing.

Well thanks mate!  If you don't mind Arkane, I'll mention you directed me to the guild forums.  Good luck to the Acolytes with the magazine that's awesome news  I actually have the previous copy of that magazine and if the Acolytes are in it I'll pick it up for sure.

If you think WAR is going to have an Item Mall you are kidding yourself. Age of Conan is giving things that are CE only, and they won't have an item mall. WoW gave away things that were CE and did not have an item mall. Vanguard gave away things in there that were CE only and there was no item mall. There won't be an item mall.

If you played it you accepted the rules on more than one occasion. Also the NDA states we can say we are in the beta and that there is a beta. Judging by your answer though I doubt you are in the beta like some of us.
