Nope, its 6% better then GTX 260 w/o AA. GTX 260 performes 10% better then 4870 under AA.

Also, only DX10.1 game from those you listed is Assassin's Creed. And I agree theres something shady going on there.

Apsolute best single chip is GTX280.

HD4870 is 10% SLOWER then GTX 260 (not 280 but 260)

Best card on the market is HD4870X2 fallowed by 9800GX2, but those are dual chip cards.

I actually think DF shadows are ugly. They are way too sharp. Shadows should be soft.

Character models look cool. Character animation suck unfortunately.

My opinion is that Darkfall trolls are the worst, but that is not on the poll either.

We all seen what happened to AoC, and so far, I see WAR heading the same way judging from these reports.

I was in AoC beta but I am not in WAR beta so I am not yet sure, but its possible that you and others might get burnt by this game the same way ppl did with AoC.

Best you could do is look at these concerns objectivly and post your concerns on WAR forums (whatever that is) and try and make developers see the errors they made so they can fix things sooner.

But no, you will bash anyone with slightest concern in this game and pretend everything is just fine.

AA and AF does nothing to improve graphics. It just corrects your image. Same can be achieved by increasing your resolution.

AA and AF do not magicaly add polygons or something.

I just wanted to make this clear. I have not  personaly played the game and I actually think WAR graphics are fine.

They are better then WoW graphics, and WoW has 10M subs last time I checked.

Well if i was getting a rigf fopr gaming - vista would be last OS id get right now.    Extra ram good - vista bad.

it isnt about having a problem it is about better performance.

 

Vista is a great OS and performance loss of going from XP to Vista is around 5%, or basicly nothing at all.
Also if you like performance, then go Windows 98, its faster then XP and uses less RAM.

If you want gaming Vista is the way for it supports DX10 enhanced graphics.

With all the vista crap like gadgets and Aero and things like that, my memory is at 28% of 2B of RAM. So basicly nothing like all the anti Vista propaganda.

Don't buy into that crap, Vista is a great OS and 3x more stable then XP. I never had a crash or BSOD.

Have you heard about Mojave experiment?

Unfortunately, I think not.

But they might add DX10 later on like Lotro did.

Yes they will. But that depends what you want to do with them in the next 2 years. 2 years from now you will not be able to play games on high setting, but medium or something.
