Bloodline Champions is a very good game, but much prefer the map control of League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth. I enjoyed this same aspect in Warcraft III, having your Heroes level up and finding/buying gear for them, but I never did play DOTA. The trouble with Bloodline Champions is that the games are over in minutes, whereas in LoL/HoN they can last a good  20-50 minutes, with plenty of Heroes and abilities and items, there's always plenty to do in a match.

I really, really, really like the visuals and art style, it looks amazing.

Got this game for £5 last week because I plan to play it once they finish fixing it. It's a gorgeous looking game.

Been tempted to try this for quite sometime, so I'm downloading it now. Not at all that familiar with these style of games. Used to play Savage 2 a few years back and loved it. Heroes of Newerth always interested me as does Bloodlike Champions, but I'm not laying down money to buy them when League of Legends is free to play.

For me, the risk vs reward is what makes/made(?) EVE Online so good and the player driven market is great. If CCP had gone ahead with a cash shop and allow ships/items/important stuff to be purchased with real cash, CCP would remove those 2 great factors which makes EVE so good for me.

I'm stuck without an MMO to play because I did plan on returning to EVE, but not now. As a player of 6 years with a very high skillpoint chartacter, I feel burned by CCP wanting to turn EVE into something I would have never originally bought into.

And there's no credible source to say that they aren't going to have pay2win items.

I no longer trust CCP and I'm no longer sure I agree with the direction EVE is now heading.

Not every internal memo is about RMT's. So no, no stroke needed...

I'm gutted CCP had to do this though. I had planned to return to EVE in 3 weeks time after my holiday. But I don't want to lay down anymore money until I know there will be no buy 2 win in the near future or ever in EVE Online... For a game centred around hardcore PVP, this would just destroy that risk factor for me.

A perfectly valid goodbye letter. I had always envisioned myself playing EVE Online for many years to come, but I feel this cash shop will only lead to bigger and uglier things.

Perpetuum is a great alternative to EVE. No doubt everyone is waiting for TOR though.

Subscription + cash shop + greed = bad business.

You take into account a cash shop would never have a place in EVE CCP assured us, now here it is...This cash shop is probably the beginning for bigger things, buying ships, modules etc would no doubt happen as CCP's greed grows in size. EVE has been tainted because of these first signs of greed and it's a real shame as I've always liked EVE Online. :(

Been playing EVE Online on and off since 2003. And I can definately say I don't like where CCP/EVE is heading. Infact, I have very little desire to return to this game now that CCP have slipped in a cash shop.

Will see where CCP take it to.
