Well, I voted Yes.

AoC as it is now is a great foundation, and if player input does really shape the future of the game, I can see AoC becoming an awesome game. But it's just a computer game, if you don't like it, oh well, try the other game, there's plenty on offer.

What I like about AoC, is how accurate it is to the Robert E Howard stories, and if you've read the books before, really adds alot of depth to the quests, since alot of them do reference with the original books.

The combat is great and refreshing, and I'm also enjoying the PVP.

I love the game soundtrack, accompanied with great visuals, really makes for a striking and memorable game.

City building with your guild is an enjoyable experience, and I can't wait to get to the borderlands with a guild.

Hardly a fault with the game if you just simply quest grind bigplanet.

This thread makes little sense, AoC is actually a very good game. What am I missing?

I'm glad these exploiters are being punished in a harsh manner. Sends out a nice warning for other would be exploiters. It's good to know Funcom are keeping an eye on these things.

Well, alot of quests around Tortage give around 500-3000 exp for the most part, and fighting mobs around my level yields around 100-200 exp per kill, given how fast you can kill mobs and how little downtime there is, it's probably faster to level from killing rather then questing in the early stages of the game anyway. I wonder how it changes when you're in your 40's/50's etc though.

You should definately roll on a PVE or a Culture PVP server.

I get slightly confused when somene slates the game community. Is the person slating that community a part of it or not ?

I was part of the technical beta test, and thought it was a thankyou gesture from Funcom. But I guess it could be because I'm also recieving the newsletter.

I'm wondering if there will be an EU info site which is found at http://community.ageofconan.com. When a patch is made live, EU usually get the patch a bit after the US because of the translations that need to be made for the multilanguage users. So if for instance, they announce a patch is live at http://community.ageofconan.com and we EU are still waiting for it, it could lead to confusion, surely ?

Or do they plan to announce all the patch/gameplay changes info through the seperate EU/US forums ?

More curious to know if patches will be released at the same time for all servers worldwide?

Yeah, simply wow, halfway to the level cap, either you've put some mad hours into your levelling, or its really quick to level.

If anything, Funcom "should" be continuing to tweak their servers, as alot of MMO developers do. As patches get released to improve game performance aswell as server improvements, why couldn't they up it to 100v100 ?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it did in the near future.

It'l even out once it gets a few thousand ratings, like every game listed at mmorpg.com.

The ATI Radeon XPRESS 200 and the X300 are similar cards, they both fully support DX9 and do Shader Model 2.0 which is requred to play AoC, and I'm sure the XPRESS 200 is the better card out of the two. It should be able to render the game at lower settings, just a question of how much system RAM and the processor speed you have to make up for the lesser graphics card.
