MMORPG.COM, can you please stop writing about a single guild not many people care about? Are you all in the guild or are they paying you to feature them?
You've written about them before and ignored all the many great guilds out there. And you've only gone and ignored the community AGAIN and written about a single guild you've written about several times before...
Thanks. |

League of Legends: New Bots for Co-op Play

Sounds like it could be alot of fun. Also, for a game to spend some of its resources on the tedious tasking of AI coding is pretty impressive. |

Nice review, best MMORPG I've played since 2006, loving this game and having a blast playing with friends. :) |

General: The 2011 Players' Choice Awards
News Discussion « General Discussion 1/10/12 9:10:05 PM
Hmm MMORPG.com, SWTOR was still released in 2011, not 2012...Seems silly to not include it in 2011 Game of the Year, DCUO is there because?
Given the poor selection of games in these categories, a NONE OF THE ABOVE option should have been included. |

Considering how over priced the game was selling for for the initial rush, it's good the price has come down a bit. EA and their bloody expensive games! |

Honestly ! Who would actually pay 15 a month for this???
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/31/11 4:17:16 PM
Yes. It's a top quality MMO, I could spend that same amount on a vast majority of MMO's out right now and not feel like I'm getting good value for money. SWTOR really is a great game. |

Banned for not going linear?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/31/11 4:08:58 PM
Seems silly to ban aplayer just because they went to a high level area and looted a chest. They can either wait and level up before using it, or sell it. If you can travel to an area much much higher level then you are, surely the spoils can be yours if you're careful? I'd bet this player got banned for doing something slightly more serious and he's pissed off. Like all those cheaters in shooter games that get banned, go on a forum to try and claim their innocence and usually get caught out anyway. |

Seems like the game has peaked on XFire
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/28/11 7:38:55 PM
I don't use xfire, neither are we forced to use xfire, so basing a games success on a program which not everyone uses is quite pointless. |

SWTOR is an excellent game - don't listen to all of the negative threads
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/24/11 12:38:47 PM
If I think back to the great MMORPG's I've played which started back in 2001 with Anarchy Online, then onto Dark Age of Camelot, EVE Online, Everquest II and Planetside. I've played dozens of MMO's but never got into them, those 5 MMO's I've listed are my top 5 and I feel it's getting harder and harder to find a worthy MMO to play. The last MMO I played was RIFT at release, but that only lasted a couple weeks before boredom set in, I was at that point where I was playing MMO's less and less and then I stopped after RIFT and decided MMO's were no more for me. I went back to single player games and FPS games for almost a year but then SWTOR came along and it has reignited that fire for me. It's basic formula stuff, but there's alot I like in the game, the combat feels good, loving questing for the first time ever in an MMORPG, the voice over is brilliant which were short lived but loved features in Everquest II and Age of Conan. I think the graphics look suberb and has a great art style, I actually want to roll an alt to see both the dark and light side. I appreciate it's non-committed crafting and companion system is fun also. I can only sense great things to come for SWTOR, I've spent over 20 hours in the game so far, got to level 16 and for the first time ever, I'm not rushing to 50 to see the endgame, I'm actually doing the quests and looking forward to the next one. I've always clicked on an NPC, hit accept the quest and let the map point me where to go just to get the exerience quickly. In SWTOR, I'll do maybe a few quests in a play session and feel very satisfied when I log off, it's brilliant stuff. I say weldone to Bioware for making me like MMO's again. Things feel right in SWTOR and I'm loving every moment of it, there's alot to see and do, been playing almost 4 weeks now, got into beta and day 2 early access and no signs of boredom setting in yet, a very good sign. :) |

Will you be subscribing after the first month?

A yep from me. SWTOR has solid foundations, having lots of fun right now and looking forward to seeing what Bioware will add next. |

Originally posted by BlackUhuru I'm level 15 and I've /played 1 day, 4 hours and 38 minutes so far. Almost 30 hours of gaming enjoyment and I'm not even half way to 50 yet. If I had skipped all the content to get to level 15 in 2 hours, I would have missed out on those 30 hours of gaming bliss. |

30 day of game time included? Not really.

You're buying the software to subcribe to a service...Such as buying a Sky HD box to subscribe to their service. It's a really simple concept. |

Metacritic deleting negative user reviews?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/22/11 6:41:42 PM
Given that metacritic is only used by trolls, spiteful players and dev employees to bump their game, why on earth would you use this shambles of a site to base your opinion of a game or decision to play it?
Metacritic is baaaaaaad. |

Is the game really THAT bad?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/22/11 3:29:32 PM
Wasn't so keen on this game, took a few days before I really began enjoying it. Too many people trying to persuade you it's a bad or good game, I said to myself, screw that, tried it and loved it. Let these people squabble amongst themselves. I was disapointed with RIFT and I haven't touched an MMO since as I'm finding the MMO genre quite stale, but SWTOR has some brilliant questing and grouping content and I believe Bioware will release some great new additions to SWTOR. |

What is Sorrow talking about?
Bioware have been making RPG's for almost 2 decades, I'm sure they have more experience than most MMO developers. SWTOR is hugely popular because it's a brilliant game, what can Bioware do when the demand is so high?
I didn't like SWTOR at first, took a good week before the game grew on me, and I'm having alot of fun with it. Brilliant stuff. |

Let's predict retention/growth in six months!
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/21/11 2:02:43 PM
Large growth. With lots of content and features being added over the next few months, SWTOR will expand at an alarming rate I reckon. |
