I've been playing MMORPG's since AC1..

If you want to see a real game with some real content.. play AC1

World of Warcraft is much better all around...

In fact there's really no mmorpg out there that begins to approach WoW in content and polish.

LOTRO uses that horrid choppy Ac2 engine. I can't even play the game at full settings with 4 gigs ram , dual core 3gighz and a 300mb Radeon 2900 pro without chopping around all over.

Hey Shadowoak I got a question for you.

Why aren't you playing games like Asherons call 1 on the Dark Tide server if you say that a game like DF is all you want?  Because AC1 darktide is basically Darkfall without the ships floating around...  or Shadowbane....  There "ARE" options out there , you just don't choose to see it...   darkfall is absolutely nothing innovative at all.  It's a generic sandbox PvP game at best... and has very little difference to something like Shadowbane..

I think half the fanboys have no freakin clue what they want. They've built up this dream game in their minds over the last 7 years and actually think DF is going to live up to those expectations....

FFA  PvP doesn't work well in MMORPG's.

It works perfectly fine in games like BF2 and Quake3 etc because everyone is on a level playing field.

DnL actually released much more media and info then Darkfall ever has...  It was even at E3 once or twice.

That's the real scary part.

I mean shit.... if DnL had the balls to show what they had at E3...  what exactly can be so wrong with Darkfall that they can't even show a demo of it to editors???

Well I don't know WHO it was exactly.. as I said before it was someone using a google gmail account saying they were acting on their behalf.. so it very well might have just been some fanboy volunteer they had slaving away for them...

Like Brannoc for example... one of the ultimate and original fanboys.
