Yeah, I saw the High Quality Vid awhile back of this game.  Always wondered what the status of this game was.  Would be awesome to play.  Hope it still sees the light of day.

Age of Conan

Those Lineage 2 snapshots look like they have some weird photoshop filter on them.  Nice though.

This game out yet?  I'd love to try it.

Warhammer Online Representing!

Glad o see that Aion had at least a couple hits... here... I even added a photo with guys... just for you. Also, an honerable mention.
"Blade and Soul"- a martial arts MMORPG made by NCsoft is the second picture. The game promises to be bloody, fast and... fan service galore(so to speak). If you haven't seen it... you should check out the vid at the following link.

That game looks AWESOME.  Gonna have to import that one when it's available.

This game should of definitely been on the list:

Prius Online

 Age of Conan (Ranger)

Lineage 2 has one quest I can think of off the top of my head like that.  Basically it's a Clan quest.  A higher ranked Clan member will assist an academy clan member (low level clan member) for this quest.  After completing the two or three part quest, the Lower Level member gets a Clan Oath Armor Set and the Higher Level Clan Member gets Clan Points for their clan (which can be used to buy clan skills and other various stuff).

It would be great if MMO's implemented more quest like this, even though the Lineage 2 quest is simple, it works somewhat.

I like the style of this game (link posted below).  Someone sent me a link to it and they say the game is out in Korea already under a different name.  It's got a cartoony look like Warcraft but I think it's much more detailed so it looks better.  And the enemy design is neat looking.  If anyone finds out the name of the Korea version I would like to know so I can check it out.

I know the ratios are getting better, but I've stuck by this quote as far as females go in games.

MMORPG = Mostly Men Online Role Playing Girls...

I wouldn't disagree with that quote... My characters LOOK HOT!

But if some player thinks I'm a girl while playing I make sure to let em know I'm a guy behind the monitor and to quit hitting on me.  Just weird.

Age of Conan hasn't impressed me much either, so go figure.  Here's some stuff I found:

The moderator definitely needs to update the photos on the main page.

Which of these mmorpgs, with sexy armor, has the most fun gameplay and a friendly/social community?

That is a good question.  And Even though Lineage 2 is winning... Lineage 2 isn't the most social place in the world that is for sure.

Cabal online and perfect world have pretty nice armour, although for perfect world i think the sexy ones are just from the cashop, not really sure though

I tried Perfect World and I didn't really like the look of it.  Also the feel of it was weird, like the characters had no weight to them.  Combat seemed a little off.  Everything felt off really.  I think Perfect World is a little overrated in the graphical department.

Referring to the image in the OP:  Man, you don't realize how dated WoW looks until you see it side by side with other mmos.

It is sad when you look at Warcraft now compared to others.  And to tell you the truth I no longer think Lineage 2 is the king.  After seeing more photos from Aion (and now S.U.N. which I'm about to Post), those games look mighty impressive with the art style.  I can't wait to check out Aion when it comes out.

Selling DSS?
Giran (General) « Lineage II
6/29/08 5:48:41 PM

I'm a new player (only been playing about two and half weeks), and so far I'm enjoying myself.  I read through Razorback's guide to making Adena, but I was curious about DSS.  As I was playing it was recommended that I create a Dwarf to make Adena, and one of the ways of doing that at a low level (20) was creating and selling DSS.

So I went through the brutal process of creating and leveling up a Dwarf to Level 20 (Holy Crap was that tough).  I've become an Artisan and immediately made my way to Dion where I was told to buy a pair of D-Gloves for 28k, Crystalize it, buy 38 Soul Ore and start to steppin on creating Soulshots.   But after doing the math, it didn't work out.  If I sell my DSS like everyone else, (13each) I end up loosing money.  So how are all these other dwarves making money selling DSS?

In the meantime while I sleep I have a Dwarf setup to do Manufacturing but it's not bringing in a ton of adena.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the update.  I tried the initialize button and moved the health bar to the area I wanted and resized it.  But once I logged out and back in, the Health bar was back in the upper left and small again.  So I can't get that to stay.

I see no one really speaks in the game, so that's weird to me.  I guess I'll only have to struggle when my one friend private messages me.

Welps other than the lack of customizing, I'm enjoying the game so far.  Thanks again.
