....new players have it way easyer then I did way back in the day,...we only started with 12000-120k skill points depending on how you picked the skills.

 

That's because the rest of the older players now have 60+ million skillpoints. So they figured hey the new players are 30-40mil SP behind the AVERAGE veteran why not give them a few hundred k SP to start off with. Either way you're f*cked as a newbie. Played the game for a year and after all of it i'm glad to be rid of it. No more weeks of work lost in 8 seconds by a gang of 3 year vets with t2 ships/gear and 20billion ISK. No more spamming from ISK farmers/sellers. No more developer corruption ( i mean are any of you REALLY that surprised it happened?). The devs have been part of the foundations of the oldest and strongest alliances in the game since the beginning.  It is getting more popular (albeit slowly) but I doubt it will ever amount to anything larger than satisfying the niche sci-fi masochist group.

And btw ECM was already nerfed to sh*t and NOS is next on the list.

If Darkfall doesn't become vaporware, you found your game.
