Allods: FIX the boring combat and we have a winner here.
General Discussion « Allods Online 11/26/09 10:14:48 AM
Well, to be honest, the combat is a little slow. Not FF XI slow (in early levels) but pretty slow. Since there is no auto attack, it seems much more boring for melee people but if you play a spellcaster class the combat doesn't seem that slow anymore. I tried almost all the archtype classes and I have to say the combat speed is fine for the summoner but melee was pretty crappy. 3 second cooldown on your normal attack is just way too slow. |

So instead of doing 10 seconds of research you decided to waste your time to complain on here for a simple fix. Sounds like your someone who needs there hand held through quests too, which if thats the case, this ain't the game for you. |

I'm not even EU and I got an EU key. I gave it away already to someone though. |

Even if there is a population problem it more then likely wouldn't be noticed till after November, when the 2nd months subs would end. |

Tired of hearing the whine. As soon as someone posts ANYTHING to contradict the botting - then its "well - that's a dumb suggestion and can't be any steps in any direction because Aion is doomed"...
If you care to read the 10+ pages on the original link I sent you, you can see most people who KNOW him are very excited by this. I can't change your opinion, but I question what you are still doing here (if no other reason than to troll)
I have already quit Aion but I am still interested in the game. Though, to be honest, one should make a small brief summery on what makes this guy so good instead of throwing a 10+ page report on the guy. I would read something about him but not everything about him. |

After reading his Wiki I saw nothing interesting that makes this guy the "step in the right direction". He maybe a cool guy and all but the way the chinese farmers are hyped with there skills I doubt anyone is good enough to deal with it. If anything this guy could maybe figure a way to make Aion fun even with the bots but that's about all I can see from this. |

If grinding is so popular in the east, then why is WoW popular and preferred over the other grinders?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 11/10/09 5:13:40 AM
Well, the most played game in Korea at the moment and which has been since its release is Aion. So, you can't judge the east as a whole then. |

Signing up to CBT via Hangame.com
General Discussion « TERA: The Exiled Realm of Arborea 11/08/09 12:05:10 AM
Apparently from what I read on there. There is a news article that tells if you want to move on to the next CBT that you have to email someone listed in the article and give some info. It maybe a way to filter out certain people from playing. |

Tried it for like 20 mins before servers went down. I have to say, best F2P I have ever tried so far. |

I don't see the big deal, a raid oriented guild is getting bored of raiding. So they are going to move to a PvP game? Sounds like rage quit central to me. |

Then do something about it instead of whine like a 10 year old. |

Gotta love how you people are complaining about an MMORPG for being an MMORPG. Basically, like it or leave it, and quit complaining about it and make your own MMO. |

The fun and entertainment of MMOs is the fact that you see your character progress and eventually become a badass, you don't just start out as one cause then you might as well be playing a console game with no progression factor in it. If you don't like it then go play another game. |

General: Aihoshi: Why Publishers Import Old MMOs
News Discussion « General Discussion 7/21/09 2:26:25 AM
This artcle is pointless since like 85% of F2P mmos that we get are garbage and not fun to begin with. Maybe these companies that are so worried about brining out something fun should team together and actually get something worth while. I have played tons of F2P mmos that had decent notice from sites and been majorly disappointed. ie. Megami Tensei or biggest waste of time ever! |

Death penalties in mmorpgs: Are they becoming less punishing?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 7/10/09 11:27:13 AM
The problem with death penelties is that the result in such things requires you to spend more time playing the game. ie loss of exp, gear or money. This causes a problem in most people cause not enough people can playing on the same level as everyone as in hardcore vs casuals. Hardcores hate casuals for making there games easier to play but unforunatly people have lives and bills to play, so unless something is less time consuming and easier, casuals aren't going to bother playing it because then it becomes a waste of time or money but game companies need the subscriber numbers of the casuals to help make there game more of a hit. |
