maybe he just got tired of the millions of reviews/threads who all state the same, that aoc doesnt feel like an mmo cause of given reasons... we get it now

same goes for all the praising - great graphics, combat good, etc etc we get the point

4 gigs of ram on a 32 bit OS really is useless since u can only use 3 gigs of ram on a 32 bit OS. that said im running 32 bit OS with 4 gigs of ram cause most applications are 32 bit and wont run that good on some occasions at a 64 bit OS

I would kinda like to see them do what PoTBS did with a server merge. I guess it has something to do with all of the housing issues....

yes and they merged 2 planetside servers not long ago.. i dont know if they merged the vanguard servers after the launch too (i guess so)

the SWG pops are decent.. xcept they have soo many servers u have about 6 servers with a nice pop and the other 20 or so are deserted.. still 6 servers with a decent pop aint bad, if u havent played it before u can try it.. i know all the vets wont touch it ever again (for good reasons)

Tell me what's awesome. Is it useless guild cities? Is it extremely repetitive quests? Is it lack of a PVP system? Is it the zoning/instances created for xbox360? Is it the lack of content? Is it the amazing dx10 graphics? Is it the single player/guild wars style story line? Is it the customer support? Is it the class unbalances? Skamper you need to stop acting like an idiot and get it through your head that the game was just released to the general public and all mmorpgs (maybe mmos in general) have issues during their launch.  Are you new to this genre?

 

Just released doesn't give Funcom an excuse for having a lack of content with PvE and PvP.

 

I love it when people/game companies claim what "WILL" be implemented in the future.

 

If your game isn't ready, don't release it.

there is a vague line between - not enough content cause the mmo is just released.. or - not enough content cause there simple isnt hardly any

if every mmo would be ready at launch there wouldnt be a need to update and use monthly fees

most ppl use the word grinding for repetitive things like killing the same mobs endlessy (as u see in most f2p games)

everything is grinding but if a game has enough variation in gameplay, like enough quest, enough unique mobs and other stuff to do in a game u wont see ppl complaining about grinding

 looks pretty cool

i played the trial, the game had some fun stuff but missions were too repetitive, just didnt grab me. but the game aint dead, theres some ppl running around... almost all high lvl. i doubt mxo has over 10k subs.. ao with its 12k seemed much more lively to me when i played it, also in the p2p zones there were more people around

i did trial on recursion server, the only one to achieve medium load (and that is in at primetime)

but dead? no...

i honestly dont know why they dont merge the servers.. how can servers with tops 100 people be profitable to them? and its not like they expect a higher population to come soon...

well since they merged 2 planetside servers they might have the time to start on these :-)

well who didnt see that coming? it just launched, give it a rest... mmos need time.. if they dont insert more content soon then i can understand u are not happy, but it has been out for.. 7 days in us.. and 4 days in eu... sheesh
