Then you're not listening in the right places, the clans have been complaining for a long, long time about it.

And shitty customer service isn't something you should get used to, it's something you should absolutely demand improves.

i cant even listen in those "places" cause i never had a clan toon ;) with the new fc baby called aoc there is just no way support will improve for ao sadly, but i love the game too much, theres still content i havent been able to try out, its just too much hehe
 

mwah its ok, clicksaver is still getting updated :O i think that itemsbot is down, but there must be another bot called itemsnet (for example) that is running.. i use our own orgbot myself. being in a (active) org is a great addition to find plenty of action/raids ingame =) its just too bad recipebot isnt being updated anymore, but at least its still running

lol soo many agressive ppl here.. cmon its just a planning. altho i fully agree early 2009 is too soon

but hey lets just see what they have added to the game by than. if they only added as much content as in AO u wouldnt be able to keep up with it :) but hey theres still more than enough ppl playing it, so who needs to get a clue? i think both haters and fans are right in their own ways/tastes...

I have an AI account with SL and NW and they gave me 30 days free.  On top of that, they let me upgrade to Lost Eden for 7 dollars.  Good deal if you ask me.  AI and LE seem to bring a lot to the game besides an easier route of leveling (example SL).  I'm just looking for deals on the net for subscription keys.  Can buy  3 month keys for cheap making it almost the same price as your 5 dollar SL subscription...

Along with my upgrade they gave me 7 extra days.  Bad thing is they are planning a new expansion soon which will probably cost 30 or they will bundle some deal that will give all expansions up to date which will make my 7 dollar upgrade stupid.

i have to correct u there, there is not an expansion coming.. but a booster pack. u dont need to buy it when it hits the live servers, and its not gonna cost 30 bucks, but less.

who cares? really there are more important things then graphics and u can always compare a new game to any old game, whats ur point exactly?
 

xfire is more for clans/guilds so more for the active players, i think not many casual gamers use it and aoc has mostly casual gamers cause the diehards arent satisfied with it. but the conan ip and the gore keep the casuals

The people with their wallets, and by all means, all these people dumping on the game before release were saying 200k subs max. The game starts off with 700k in the first month, even if retention is half its still more than what the nasties were predicting.
Let me tell you there are plenty of people playing and enjoying the game, these people you can find if you log in the game.

You are fooling yourself if you think that the higher ups at FC will be satisfied with those numbers 2 moths after release.

Yes by all means log in and look at your friends/guilds list. I have an older mature die hard gamer guild and even they are logging in less and less and the bugs have become a running joke. Sure some people will remain, hell swg still has fools paying them, but that doesnt mean its a  success.
You talk  like AoC is the only game that has bugs in it, and if only fools are playing it, thats make you a mega-fool for not playing it and only posting about it!
Keep playing and enjoying the game but there a re a whole lot of people who are extremely disappointed in the early , incomplete release and the lack of anything resembling logic since launch

buying the aoc CE - 80 bucks

hating a game - priceless

at lvl 98 u should be somewhere in ely (elysium)

ely hecks start from lvl 100 but some come sooner with out of team tanks/healers

however if u are lost (with how everything works etc) i wouldnt do hecks, they kill u in 2 or hits at your lvl ;) ely mortiigs/spiders are where u should lvl. and get a perennium beamer if u havent :P

what server u on? i can always give u some tips ingame its my free month anyway ^^ (im on rk2 - rimor)

yea the game really seems epic fail when i go to a mate where aoc is being played and where most servers are full, u think im making this up go check it out yourself

well all the haters post all surveys/patchnotes/news from aoc so i guess they can start aoc up themselves

I don't, but I'm having a great time laughing at its downfall!  I had to live through the BS that Funcom pulled on us with AO not knowing what I do now cause nobody knew who Funcom was then and MMOs were pretty new!  I did however expect all this with AoC so I never got into it!  In my attempt to warn some people about AoC and Funcom's past, nobody wanted to listen and I got called a troll just cause I have a WAR sig promoting my guild!

I have every right to laugh at the crap that Funcom is doing to its game and customers once again!  I seriously can't beleive that they'd attempt doing it again after the AO fiasco!  Everyone that bought the game and continues to test their beta, or more like an alpha had plenty of warning and deserves no sympathy. 

wheres this downfall? the servers are still full, the game sold at least 700k which is a huge succes for a western mmo in the WoW-age

had no problems at all with the offer..

i only keep crashing (must be vista, but ao is the only game that crashes for me) and im waiting on the fc techsupport.. which WILL take ages

its sad, i want to play and might resub cause of all the new content, but i cant...

so i got the 30 day free gameplay + 700 paid pts offer too.. and i gladly accepted it since my holidays started. i must say they changed a lot in the 7 months ive been away, my 220 enf feels a bit gimpy for not having the latest highend nanos and ive been patching and assorting my shortcut bars for ages but it feels good to play and explore it a bit like a newbie ^_^
