LOL at canceld OB, i am willing to bet they thought oh shit if people see our game then less will buy it since it is not good enough.

lets just go ahead and cancel OB phase all together and i am willing to bet there will not be one at all. they just go to release.

Is this OB truly a OB or just a lie? becuase i dont see the option to download this game and neither can i add this game to my master account on square enix site. (yes i was not in CB)

So what is the deal here.....

This game is MMO+Online Casino  mix and cash shop is just there to rip you off and they dont even try to hide that.

I did play this game in CB, OB and was ranked 5th on server before i stopped playing. the boreing part of this game is the daily events are amazing EXP and only true way of leveling after you reach 60+. Once you reach that stage  then everyday is the same as day before where you wait for a event to start so you can join.

There is no freedom in this game as such as just logging on and going to grind where you want yes you can do that to any monsters but it is horrible EXP.  You are channeld in a path and in that path it takes X amount of days to do things and there is no way for you to make it any faster.

Overall 1-60 part of the game was fun and new but later stages of this game needs huge improvement and for that i will give it 6/10.

There was no insult in my post so dont make things up that i didnt say. Also there are different ways of playing a game. yes for me it is all up rushing to end  and doing end game content. if you think that is what makes a player "Jaded" as you say then you are wrong. one key point of any succesful design for game now days is the End-Game. i am sure MMORPG done few articles about it them self.

What i was trying to point out is that, AoC is not a grinding game. it takes very little effort to hit the level cap. so all this effort trying to improve the low level game is good but the main focuse needs to be else where. they need content where it matters the most and that is at End Game, Improving the system that dont work correctly those sort of things.

Look at it this way, how many days will you spend at low level range? And how many days will you spend at end game range? you cant stay low level for ever eventully you will move on and want more. I hate to compare it to WoW but that is one clear example of what i am talking about. they constantly add new content, new items new raids etc. that is the sort of thing AoC could use.

Otherwise the only way to enjoy AoC is to make loads of Alts and keep doing 1-30 range. which is ok fun 1st few times but then what?

I think you did your best to show what this game has for offer or how it has changed but in all honestly i am not convinced this is a good game yet. The main core problems, like PvP, Siege, Raiding etc not addressed yet even in this expansion and it has been long time since the release, Slow developing games are just not worth a 2nd look IMO.

I made Tempest of Set and Bear Shaman level cap both of them in under 10 days when game was initially lunched and every review i hear from you guys is that they added new content this or that for leveling but the thing is. leveling is easy in this game it dose not need that. what it needs is new Raids that are acctully challenging, a Seige System that works like it was promised before release. a PvP system that works or atleast gives an illusion of some sort of balance. Crafting system vs Item reward gaind from Raids needs to be adressed. I remember i made Evasion set for my ToS and no one could hit me while no gear from Raiding coul ever match that.

I dont remember which one it was but if you double tab forward or back you get added evasion and with right items you end up with like 75+% evasion. Then there is the problem of walking under the walls and floors the Siege walls are used as barrier but there is glitch that lets you walk under them; same can be used in some raids.

I mean i can go on forever but the thing is. it all comes down to this. The game has good and griping story and nice graphics but beauty is only skin deep as they say. it needs to find a soul and it lacks that for me.

There is NOT going to be a new game but rather a new update for the old one. Search GE for latest updates that SNW will get and you will see the same UPC in those artworks.

It is just play on words.

SNW : Sword of the new world the name used on US/EU

GE: Granado Espada the name used in SEA.

You have to keep mention the game and i get that but at least come up with something less annoying or better titles so people actually do end up reading it.

I can grantee you; that people will read the title and think to them selves, Oh god another BS article to advertise a bad game. That is not what you want really; when you are trying to get some publicity. Not to mention not many people will get past the title and wont read the article at all.

Graphics in this game are amazing and no one can argue BUT i don’t agree with "most Improved Game" title ..

Ask your self this what has changed? the PvP still broken and Raiding well it needs a lot more work. I fear this article was made for wrong reasons.

Is it time for us to go back to AoC and give it a 2nd chance? i don’t believe the hype with AoC anymore, after all they fooled us once,
 

No one likes reading long replies so i make this short. there is a reason why they call funcom; failcom.

I made 2 max level characters in 10 days when server 1st were lunched (bear shaman and tempest of set) lets just say nothing worked at this stage so i left after two months.

Now i read some reviews and i thought hmm maybe i should try it again; i log on to see the same problems with PvP, Raiding, items, combo system etc.

IMO this game has nothing going for it beside the graphics and even that is getting old now. beauty is only skin deep as they say'; now days to attract players and in order to keep them you need a lot more then that.

Side note: notice my join date to these forums and note that i never posted before; reason for that is that i never felt strongly about anything to have my say in the matter but with AoC i feel like people are being lied to again just like how they lied to us at lunch. i had to make a post to warn others take it from someone that gone back and activated account, this is still not a good game. so yah this is my 1st post on this site after 6 years :D.
