OP!

Yupp this is one of my biggest turn off abput the game. To be good at PvP should take some suffering, its just so carebearish to make all ppl the same lvl when they enter PvP.

Many game can learn a lot from lets say Lineage 2, there u need to spend aloooootta time to grind up to also become good at PvP. This game will have some kinda fake/lame PvP complementing the WoW-vanilla-fluffy-hello kitty online concept.

Im still here folks and have been since 2004. Yes, seriously, calm down, hehe.

I am not suprised that I got a warning, not at all. I just think its kinda silly. Sure maybe my topic was a bit "harsh", but I honestly just wanted to know why ppl are so hyped. No QQ here at all. My life doesnt stand or fall with this forum.....even if I got banned there would still be a sunny tomorrow.

But seriously I have looked into the game (not very very much, but some) and I cant really see the THING. Yes its new, yes it has decent graphic, yes with the DE and stuff. But from the videos I have watched it seems just like another wow but a bit different.

As I said before its nothing bad about that if u really like WoW, but as u maybe have figured I dont. Thats why I wonder why ppl seem to be so "sold out" on this game. And yet again I want to tell you "I told you so" when you 30 days of free gameplay is over.

just curious why cant you get into game..if you pre ordered you have access? or is it because too many peeps trying it?

Obviously the PR is the most important with these so called beta-weekends. Me myself I have pre-ordered the game 1 month ago and I cant login to character server now. Probably cause Funcom have litterally thrown out keys for the beta.

It would also be an good idea to redirect ppl, after shutting down the game, to a site where they can rate the experience. Or are these "beta weekends" only stress-tests and PR?

How about casual gamplay? Yes I know u can spend 1h or 20h each day on whatever game. But will I be competative with playing...lets say.....3 hours each day in GW2?

Hi there guys.

Ofc Ive heard alot about this game since its the most hyped game this year (so far). But I havent put much work into getting to know the game. I must admit that GW1 didnt impress me much. I played at the launch and can only talk about the first edition, but what really turned me of was the "invisible walls" in the game and the feeling of beeing lonely in an instance.

Well I would appreciate some info if you care to help me.

- When do you think the game will launch? In like 2 months or in 9 months?

- Will the beta start frequently from now if you have pre-ordered the game?

- What will be the biggest diffrence/improvment from GW1?

- Describe for me with 3 words why I should get the game and the pre-order.

I have read alot of ppl complaining about the beta so far. I must say I cant agree on that personally. I have only played about 2 hours but no crashes/dissconnects so far. No problem starting the game or creating the character either.

The battle seems intence and fun.

The enviroment is very nice.

The npc/pc looks pretty ok even if some ppl say the opposite.

The cutscenes aint what I expected. It looks like Deus Ex (the first one). I played Heavy Rain on the PS3 recently and this one cant even compare to that, but hey this is an mmorpg.

Still has some problem with the GUI, to get to inventory, character sheet etc.

This is supposed to be an "real life mmo", well my character can jump 2.80 cm with his feet togheter. Hmm maybe I will apply for the olympics in highjump?

As you see I am mostly positive so far about the game. I will report back when I have played more of it. Hope this helped out even if its my highly personal refelctions.

I played during the 2 hours and with my taste of games I think Im gonna love this one. I have played Lineage 2 for many years and I do feel some of its elements in this game aswell.

Still veeeery early to give a review but the experience felt stable. The "no-target" gameplay is very funs. But I can imagine casters/nukers will need some practice, hehe. I played a warrior and did a duel with a nuker (that rabbit looking class) and I think he hit me once and it felt less than a mosquito. I just jumped, used my evade skill (rolling on the ground) and run around him hitting with my duel-blades. It was over very fast and the nuker just "loled".

Im looking forward to the beta and the actuall release!

Try to find the email where u needed to verify your email. Press the link and u will come to an error-page. From there push the link in the upper right corner of screen that says "My account". Then login. Worked for me.

Guess more ppl found out its possible to download client. Started to download at 6,4 mb/s now 10 min later its 4,5 mb/s.

Well i downloaded the installer from Tera-Europe, so i'm hoping it's the EU version...kinda :)

Haha, yeah hopefully!

6,5 mB/s not bad. Just hope we will be able to try the actuall game soon.

And I am now downloading the game. Strange enough I wasnt able to create my account from my computer, but my cell-phone worked. Then I approved my mailadresse via the mail in my computer and in that way I got access to the account-page. I wrote my pre-order key and then I was able to install the game (after refreshing the window).

If I try to press the account link now it shows the old message of the cancelation of the sneak peak. But atleast Im downloading the client now, maybe they start to get things right now.
