I was wondering if there's an online guide somewhere to tell you where to level, or where to find groups to level? Also, how do I properly sell things? How can I properly sell the crystals that I get from loot? Basically, i'm looking for advice so that I can find some party action or some sense of direction in the game... Also, I'm a Lancer on Selbina if that means anything in this process
Thanks |

Is it worth it? (Another one of these threads)
General Discussion « Final Fantasy XIV 7/06/11 12:53:19 PM
If I were to come back to this game, would I be able to enjoy it more than I did when it first came out?
I'll start off by saying that I played the game on release, and that I was a little disappointed. I was disappointed in two ways, the first being that the game was not as smooth as I had expected. The second disappointment was my computer. It couldn't really run the game, and I guess that's why I was irked at the gameplay at first glance. But that is the past, and I understand the game has improved in some ways. So I'm asking, is the game smoother? Could I enjoy the game with a random group and level up with strangers, or will I have to level up by myself? (RL friends are too cheap to think about buying this, and they heard how bad it was)
Part of me still has high hopes for this game and I will be looking at it with fresh eyes; will I end up putting the game away again?
Please let me know your opinion of the game so that I can decide whether or not to give this game another try
Thanks |

I know that one of these games is not an MMO, but I'm at an impasse here between my mind and my wallet... I have indeed played Darkfall, and enjoyed the hell out of it, but i couldn't pay for it anymore. And after seeing this weekend, deal, i decided this would be the best time. However, I've noticed a game called "Blood Bowl", which is based of a Warhammer tabletop game, which I really enjoyed. So I ask you all, which would be better in the long run? Which has a bigger player base and has a better future? Those that have played Blood Bowl, what is it like? Much obliged |

Starcraft 2 is amazing, one of my favorite computer games (Next to Counter Strike). If you like competivtive gameplay, then you'll love this game. If you want some fun gameplay, then this game will also be to your favor.
Community is usually great, but there are some hilarious BM moments in the game. Usually players will not flame you and there are many people that play the game. If multiplayer isn't your style, then the single player will keep your attention.
As for DOTA, I don't really know since I don't follow it :( Hope this helped |

I don't know what you're talking about, that looked epic as f*ck.... Made me want to reactivate my account The only thing I'm worried about is the amount of players, are there still a good amount in the North American Server? |

Thanks for responding, and that somewhat clears it up, but for people to show up, even in somewhat remote areas with mobs, it takes about 10-15 seconds for even a mob to show up on my screen. I'm almost positive its there because I see people fighting these invicible mobs. So my thoughts are maybe it is the server thats taking way too long to give me this kind of information, should I move servers?
Thanks |

For some reason, when I go into a populated area, I see flashes of people, then they disappear. I know they're there, this also happens with monsters. Usually I have to wait a bit to see a few peope instead of automatically seeing people, can this be helped? I'm pretty sure its not the graphics cuz everything runs smoothly on medium and I put it on low graphics. Could this be a problem with the server? If so, what is a good server for US East? Much Appreciated
I'm not trying to bash the game, or start anything, just wondering if this can be helped |

I'm pretty curious to try this game out because of the setting of the game, but is there only one town in the whole game? is there no exploration? I was kinda hoping for a small village in the dark forests where there can be werewolves, or other night critters that a party and I can face. I just like that type of setting, is there such a place in this game? I appreciate your replies |

EVE Online: EVE Survivor Guy, Part Seven
News Discussion « General Discussion 5/23/10 6:43:35 PM
Just curious, what ship is that in the last picture? I'm curious because it looks interesting and I might want to start playing EVE again... I was a bit turned off to the idea that to really play PvP you need a specific ship (the name escapes me now) but is it possible to use a frigate and still PvP? thanks |

FF Tactics online was another game that i would like to see as an MMO, but I agree with Zeo in that it would be pretty hard to get the same depth as the original games. But it could have like PvP like rebel vs. the Palatinean Army (Ogre Battle 64) I'm just spitballing ideas |
