Witch Elf is definately a female-only class.

Hence the "Witch" part of the name.

Keirik - The Chaos god of anger towards slow driving old folks with nice sports cars.

I enjoy recieving figurines and such with games.

They make great decorations for the top of my subwoofer.

You have a subwoofer that you can actually keep figurines on and keep them standing?

I feel sorry for you :D

The subwoofer has ridges on the outer edges of the top so many of the figures shuffle around, but they don't fall off. The bigger ones are wedged between a few various candles so they don't fall down either. It operates like a miniature electrical football field, though the players are weilding weapons and the like.

(with the exception of my little Buddha statue who seems to peacefully float in place as chaos insues)

It is rather pointless to assume the preferences of players on WoW servers to choose Alliance or Horde will in any way show us how WAR servers will play out.

The sides of WoW do not match the sides of Order and Destruction entirely.

Regardless, there is much more behind a players decision to join a certain side besides PvP combat.

World of Warcraft didn't raise the bar for other MMOs.

World of Warcraft simply turned the bar sideways and told us we needed to grind on it for months.

You could always join a guild (or whatever the equivelent is for each race) and decorate the keep you are controlling. It is the perfect place for your Empire skin sofa and your complimentary High Elf baby head lamp on a table made out of Dwarven bones. You could even paint the keep walls red with the blood of innocent NPCs and players alike.

EDIT: It would be Sofa King stylish in my opinion.

If I play WAR it won't be because Mythic developed it.  Considering the DEVs have demonstrated the ability to totally ruin a MMO.  Also considering they now fall under EA It has two big whammies going against it not for it.

I'd say add a third option.  Play it because its a new MMO.

Although I have being paying attention to dev interviews and it sounds like they have learned from thier mistakes.

That is your opinion. I don't think ToA or NF was a mistake.

HEAVEN FORBID I EXPRESS MY OPINION IN A THREAD THAT ASKS FOR MY OPINION!!!

DERKA DERKA!!!

Was the Derka Derka needed?

What game have the Devs ruined? What is wrong with EA?

I am 50/50 on the subject.

I look forward to the game because the Warhammer IP is perfect for an MMO setting and has endless possibilities for expansions, as well as a wide selection of races and classes to incorporate into the game in the future.

I also look forward to the game because Mythic has a good crew, and I trust them to create a good game. Dark Age of Camelot is a classic, and one of my first MMORPGs. If Mythic can deliver an experience similar to old school DAoC RvR, Warhammer will have no problem becoming the next big thing.

Hopefully the classes will be on the same level as the others and not entirely overpowered. :D

I played WoW for a year and a half, reached level 70 with a Gnome Warrior, and made many good friends in the process. You are right, I do believe the game is a waste of time.

You can call everyone here a nerd, feel free to do so, but I assure you no will be offended.

Grats on the vid BTW but how close to release do we have to wait to finally see some impressive gameplay vids?

They are waiting for you, and only you to give up on following WAR. They have some potential playerbase bugs and they need to clear things up before they release any more videos.

This "warhammer came before warcraft" garbage only makes WAR fans sound dumb.  Who cares about the dating of lore?  It certainly doesn't make one developer better than another... nerds.  Fact is wow came before WAR.  WAR, unless the most rabid fans are right, will probably always live in wow's shadow.

Actually, Warhammer HAS been around for 25 years. We are not comparing the MMOs but only the reasons they look similar. aka. Art, Lore, Concepts, "Cartooniness"

When Blizzard was a small company they applied for access to the Warhammer IP. At this time they were in the process of creating a Warhammer lore based game. Upon failing to please Games Workshop with thier plans for the game (we know how protective GW is), Games Workshop denied Blizzard (Blizzard wanted to modify too much of the lore).

After being rejected by Games Workshop, Blizzard simply relabed and changed the content they had already created in the Warhammer based game, and thus you have "Warcraft".

(I have a sneaking suspicion that this conversation will soon turn into an infamous WoW has 10 million subscribers attempt at an auto-arguement-win).

Regardless, if you would like for me to point out the obvious, I will introduce the the ideas stolen from the World of Warhammer in the form of pictures (followed by an accompanying explaination).

EDIT: Almost forgot........

Congrats on calling everyone here a nerd. We all appreciate it, but I am sure many of us are wondering......

"If you are on the MMORPG Forums, and label everyone (but yourself) a Nerd. What heretic-a-hypocritical nonsense is this? Blashphemy I say!"
