Your feeble attempts to guilt other responders with that cheap "join the troops" thing was also sad.  Ridiculous.  Out of place.  Uncalled for.  Who are you to chastise people for pursuing a legitimate passion?  No one.  It is not within your rights to become arbiter of what we may and may not feel and do.  Your sorry, republican methods of manipulation are not going to deter anyone from making sure that the single most classic blunder made in the MMO market is not forgotten. 

 

And like it or hate it, it should not become as you would have it--a mere footnote.  It should remain as what it is, a still-fresh reminder to gamers and industry hacks alike that there IS a limit to what the MMO consumer will tolerate from the vendors of their games.  Unless this is obviously evident, then the market will continue to decline in quality, which will inevitably lead to the death of it.  Rather than becoming more revolutionary, more fresh and more innovative, as it should, it will become extinct, dying out as people find other places to spend their money.

 

Word of mouth is our only weapon, son.  It is the MMO consumer's most versatile tool.  Try to remember that.

They are supposed to be putting a lfg system in game soon I heard but unfortunatly it wont change things for you , the game has very few players left .

What is totally awesome is I can see Un_NerfJedi and Traga are the same person!  This is often why we have trouble with feedback from the forums.  If you have an opinion, you only need to state it once.

 

Have you found other clothes that match to make up a good looking outfit Thearin?

Is Blixtev a member of the cabal ? or is he just trying to wreck SWG off his owne bat  :P

Yes boys and girls can you say instance , I doubt it will ever happen based on past promises made at these summits .
    And it still doesnt change the fact the basic game is a broken , bug filled ghost town of a game , please fix the basic game first .

The summits were a marketing tool , full of hype , half truths and downright lies , thank goodness most players didnt fall for it and even if they did the NGE is still there to remind us of just how bad things have become for poor SWG .

Mostly transfers from the dead servers , the devs wont do anything to help those on dead servers and soe gets $50 , win win for soe and as usuall loose , loose for the players .

You do not need a credit card for the free trial, that would defeat the purpose of a free trial.  Currently there are 3 expansions available, although 1 (Jump to Lightspeed) probably isn't considered an expansion anymore as you can't get the game without it now.  If you decide to play, the Complete pack will give you access to all expansions.

SWG caters to a wide range of playstyles.  You'll find PvP, PvE, instances, crafting, roleplaying, player made events, community building, space, player housing, plus more.  Some of these you'll be able to experience through the trial, others you won't be able to either due to restrictions of the trial (such as player housing) or the investment of time required (such as crafting).

And best of all you get it ALL to yourself

To be fair they did make the Pre-CU game which you obviously loved, without them you wouldnt have had it at all. You should let it go because not letting it go doesnt achieve anything since every MMO company knows (many times over) that to make a mistake like the NGE is idiotic and doesnt work.

Every MMO company except SOE seems to know this :P

However, isn't it about time we just let it all go.   Get over it, put our energy into helping build up some other game community of some other game instead of continuing to tear down SOE and SWG?   Hey, they screwed up...and badly.....but there comes a time when you just have to accept the mistakes that's been made and focus on the future.    I just don't see any purpose in continuing to gripe about SWG when you know they really don't give a damn about what people say. 

 

Mate if you don't have what it takes to stay the course so be it , but we should never "accept" being screwed over and it is never to late for justice .
