Thanks all, i reactivated EvE. I remembered that WoW had issues with a specific hack what would give a player GM powers. They don't brag about it but it's been largely distributed. I hate beeing scared to speak up in trade for fear of having a 16 years old sending mobs at me and stuff like cheating on my hps. Might just be my imagination but i'm playing EvE now. |

This is not an estimation of WoW's subscriptions but an estimation of WoW's activity. I'd like to point out that with the new asian regulations, WoW may not be able to continue exploiting the asian market. That particualar regualtion was created to protect the local gaming industry.

EvE was ok. Had trouble with level 2 missions though. It a good option. I was also considering WoW. I don't really hate the game like some people do. I'm not a fanboy either. |

Didn't enjoy Lotro a whole lot. XP was quest based and i hate running all over the place looking for my quest objectives. I know they added a quest tracker, that helped. Still a lot of running though. |

From reading the patch notes i thought it was a whole lot of nothing. Disappionting but not, bad. But then it patches and i see they messed up autorun which i use ALL THE TIME. That basicly means i'm annoyed all the time. For those that don't know what i'm talking about, if you keyup run after pressing autorun it will stop running. I doubt this is something to fight bots because it has become apparent the don't give a damn.
A failed patch breaks working things.
(I'm told for some people it's working still. I think those people still have autorun bound to numlock where i have it bound to R) |

Some classes like priest will have next to zero downtime because their heal drains about no mana and their main attack is melee. Some other classes like mage will have a killing spree before having to sit to restore their mana, taking no damage. Warrior and scouts will mostly sit for hp. Scout kills fast and stis more. Warrior kills slow and sits less.
I've ascended every tier 1 classes but i can't really speak for every tier 2 classes. My main is an assassin. Basicly it doesn't rely on mana. It uses some but the costs are so trivial that even by spamming those skills that do require mana you'd be regening it as you go. An assassin relies on stuns to remain alive. If you play it badly or if your stuns get resisted you'll take more damage and you'll have to sit more. |

Well they could make a 15-25 instance that takes around an hour to do... sortof like deadmines. They could make battlegrounds for the 10-20 brakcet... sortof like Warsong Gulch. They could make something special happen after level 10... sortof like talents points. Then again you could be playing WoW. It obviously has all these wonderfull things. I'm not basing WoW here, it's a good game on it's own; but Aion is just a different game. As in it's not WoW... |

Basicly you don't want to grind, you don't want to team and you want to hit max level. This sounds an awful lot like wow, why not play that instead. It might be more suited to your expectations. |

Fortress siges are taxing on any machine. There is an option in graphics which reads as follows: "Fixed FPS". Basicly what it does is it manages your graphic settings automaticly to enable a steady fps. I would recommend that feature to anyone having issues with fortress sieges. This is also on the list of known issues which means they're working on fixing that. |

Basicly people who will be getting Aion for christmas will be getting a special promotion which include items to make leveling faster and a store specific dye color for gear. This is a marketing thing done around christmas. |

I'd like to point out that gold advertisement has gone down from 7$ for 1m to 3$. That basicly means people are not buying and that their bots are getting banned causing them to lose money in buying new accounts. They are getting desperate to make money and if it keeps heading that way they might give up altogether. Botting is not done exclusively by gold sellers though. Botting software is largely distributed and players use it too. PlayNC will ban a botter if his gear matches the gold seller profile but most player bots have been left alone so far. |
