I remember the good ol' days where people hang out at the Bronto Burger shop in Omni-Entertainment! Bronto bronto brontooooo!
Ranting aside, these screenshots looks really promising. Anarchy Online is definitely the MMO I've had the most fun with. |

While I do play HG:L and actually have fun doing it, I have to agree with #2 - I'd suppose that's what seperates it from the true aspect of a "mmo", even though FSS likes to call it that. That said I think this title will be very good and have loads of stuff to offer, it just need some time to mature. Give it about 6 months and I think we'll have the game we actually payed for. At least I hope so, since I'm very fond of the "shooter meets rpg" genre.

Good old AO.. Ya, the old times were truely great. Awesome community and the feeling of something unique and unexplored like AO, had me hanging for like 2 years. I didn't reach the cap-lvl, which was 200 at that time, but the twinking and roleplaying thing kept me going.. As for SL, it all went down.. For me at least. Like AO wasn't AO anymore.. I've always liked the concepts of cyberpunk universes, and funcom really had the ideas. But SL... 'Scuse me, but they musta been on crack when concepting that bs! Why ruin something so well thought and toss in an expansion and call it a new era, when all it does is mirroring a cliché like the dark side... I dunno. AO was great. It isn't anymore. |
