Part of the problem there is I dont even know my characters name... >.> I only played the game for 14 days or so... maybe a bit longer because I was enjoying the game.

I knew by 24 that I hated the game... the only reason I stuck around that long was that I was giving it an honest try out. Maybe... maybe someday if Garriot gets his head out of the sand and allows fixes for shoddy mechanics, it will be a good game... >.>

Umm... Ive got bad news for you (the guy going off the deep end): All video games are click click click click and nothing else. Until they create the technology to have games that read your thoughts or eye movements or something like that, then thats all youre going to have.

I quit TR because it was boring... I died all the frigging time... and I wasnt doing anything different than other players were. Cover, had it, weapons galore, I had all 5 spots filled, +2 extras. Ammo? Had enough to open a supply shop. Knew what I was doing? I leveled two charas to 15, one to 24. So, yes. But I always ended up getting clobbered by tons of Bane in Palisades and beyond... so I got sick of it and quit.

Dont you just love it when you forget all your login, plus the email account you used for stuff? lol Out of curiosity I went to see if I could get a trial account with my old account, but cant remember my email or login I used! >.< And I had some nice ships too... :|

As someone else put it on Eve you have to be able to sacrifice elf-boobies for a spaceship. lol Its very true... and unfortunately, I like "elf-boobies".

Id like to be able to get out of my ship and walk around planets, maybe do pve missions down there...

The other thing I didnt like about this game was the ganking... you could have jerks sitting outside of stations shooting anyone that undocks. >.<

Other than those two flaws, I loved the game... I really did, the skill time sink was oddly fun, I dunno why, but I enjoyed it. O,o Maybe Im just weird like that. I also thought that flying between jump gates going to other stations for your stuff you bought was fun. There was usually stuff to see, and the signs were interesting.

I really cant stand raids and instances that take more than 2 or 3 hours to finish.  I like exploring and crafting, and if theres housing I like fiddling around in that too. And theres RP as well, usually anyway... I like to do that. :)

I tried it at release, my comp had the settings on low, it lagged like hell, bugs and general server lag made it not very fun. It was pretty though... Ive considered trying it again, since I have a better system now, and Im guessing theve worked out some kinks and applied patches.

Archlord sucks worse than RFO ever could... and Im not a big fan of either, but I have played both. Niether of them are that spectacular.
