1. No  FPS combat.

2. Why look at this game, it is dead. Darkfall here we come.

3.. Grow up developers, we are geting very tired. You think we accept this kind of bollocks ?

Only problem with this game is that it is level based. So the FPS element will be less than it could.

This is the same old game that has been seen a thousand times before. Isometric view. Click on target and wait type combat. It is like something from the 90's.

You walk upto a mob and left click and then your character starts slashing away. You gain exp and levels and improve your stats so you can left click on more mobs and gain more exp and levels, etc, etc.

A joke.

Why oh why do they keep making games like this? Are the devs having a laugh?

Seriously this is very very very bad.

MMORPG should not have anything to do with this game.

Tonight the lead developer KFR started the storyline going and fought with the barbarians to take over a Roman Fort.

There were over one hundred Roman soldiers running at us and it both fun and scary. 

This is the only true sandbox game out there where you can do what you want to do. It has alot of the features that darkfall promises to have. Gradually the game is really working out to be the game that it promised all those years ago.

At ten pounds or $20 i can not think of a reason not to have a go.  

I would strongly suggest buying this game at this price. There is no monthly sub and the endless hours of gameplay you can have it is money worth spent.

And no you don't have to transfer money into the game if you dont want.

There is NO need to spend money in this game at all.

If you are in a guild and work along with everyone then you don't need to spend real life money apart from the initial purchase price. I did splash out a while back so that I could buy some guards to see what they were like but apart from that I have spent zero money in 1.5 years of playing it.

The price has just dropped to £9.95  Even better. Thats about $20.

Oh and the blood effects are nice now.

Seems like Red Bedlam might have turned the page so to speak with this game now.

We have gotten much more interesting and realist NPC combat in the last two patches. The first one reduced vigour usage but was not quite right, now that have balanced it.

With Guildhalls (for PvP capture), good NPC combat and such an immersive crafting system this game is becoming the game that Darkfall hopes to.

There is no other MMO with this FPS / skill based style combat. 

No game where you can build a city and craft anything you want in a really immersive way.

All it needs now is new players and the old ones to come back, 

Bad graphics? No not really, they are not great but the gameplay more than makes up for it.

All in all if more people played they would love this game like the many that already do.

No I am not a fanboy, I have slated this game in earlier months, I think that what they have done now is great :) 

People whine about the old SWG but frankly the combat in it sucked, it was shite. At least they have made it slightly well EQ/WOW style. What is needed really is a new upgrade and Tabula Rasa (semi FPS) brought in.

But best of all would be to scrap PlanetSide and merge SWG and PlanetSide together. That would make SWG the best MMO ever and kill off ALL competition.

Roma Victor graphics are absolutely fine, they need a bit of tweeking here and there but that is all. There are alot worse out there. I bet you have not played RV recently to make any sensible comment.

As for Darkfall being vapourware....I bet you will cream yourself when it comes out and be the biggest fan of all.
