this whole system has  gone outta whack. players want to be testers cause they think its fun amd a faster way to get to play a game. when the hell did testing become fun? i remeber sitting on the same screen/ area for 2 hours walking up and down the map loookin for bugs then writing a report then starting the whole prossess over again. beta has somehow become some kinda glamorious thing everyone wants to do. thats the problem with the hype machine. with so many people testing and leaking information you pretty much know everything about a game before its ever released. i say make betas work again and we wont have all these crap cookie cutter games coming at us.

see the thing that chaps my ass is the fact that they are all super proud of the fact that they have half a million ppl signed up to beta test . i mean come the hell on 500,000 ppl to beta test ??! thats nutz they sghould have only had an enrollment of so many then closed it off agian instead of tell everyone and thier mom to apply then pissing 80% off by just leaving them hanging i mean thats total BS. why do we as gamers put up with that crap all its gonna do is build hype up to the point were the game cant possibly measure up then ever one is gonna say " it aint worth the hype" and not play it. i say strike back i say dont apply at all let them pay ppl to test the crap and then see if they wanna upset the buying public. i really am almost to the point were i hope the game gets scrapped and all those devs get fired.

its not that i care if i get in .. well i mean i hope i do but its the whole not having any kinda answer after what 4 months thats starting to bother me.

i applied to beta like back in october and i havent heard anything one way or the other . my status still says applied so i want to know what the hell is up??!!

see the thing is sony used to be the big dog on the block with evercrack and as such they would down play any game that would give it some compition. Now that sony is no longer the the lead brand  (thanks to WoW) these bad buiness practices are catching up to them
