How can you return an MMO with the CD Key USED?
 

I didnt read it all but, Didnt EA just confirm another KOTOR with an MMO Component in it? - . -
And its being made by BioWare together with LucasArts.

Incidently its kinda funny, since on the "birdie" servers, I see 10X as many players  in one 5 minute session than I did during 3 full 14 and 21 day trials....

Seems I'm not the only one that thinks that "sandboxy as LOTRO" isn't enough.

Unfortunatelly i didnt play LOTRO and iam not planning to, as i find that fantasy world not interesting enough. But except for EVE Online, i didnt see any (classic) MMO that could compare to SWG in a number of features and possibilities...

 

You should check some of the live servers like Bria or Chimaera to get a real feel what does SWG look like now. Its not preCU, but there are dozens of players online in Mos Eisley, PvPers at Restuss, PvE groups forming all the time and many guilds that mind their own business.

Oh, and SWG is the only game that i feel addictive as ... omg i can play it without getting bored, even though i practically kill the same enemys in each quests just different shapes.

Lotro aint Sandboxy? woot, im playing it, still aint got no dirt on me feet.

Can pirates go mutiny against other pirates? Like Barbossa did to Jack Sparrow.
Or Treachery, and well... You know, pirates arent aligned to any country or band.. So, can you or not?

As the OP said, it's personal taste, obviously.

 

I think one can say he doesn't like a game even after only 10 minutes of play. Why? Because there are many things you can see in 10 minutes (UI, movements, mechanics, pace, immersion, mob behaviour, combat, graphics, ...) - especially when you have played a lot of games and have seen the many possible bad patterns used within the genre.

 

And dont compare it to wow, or say its a wow clone, wow is a clone of EQ.. In matter of fact, if any game is a clone of another, its definately of EQ.

I was actually really surprised to see LOTRO as the game with the best rate on mmorpg.com.
For the 10 minutes I forced myself to play it, it was like I was playing an Asian grindfest yet again. The only thing that I liked was the face of my dwarf, nothing else.
I like Tolkien's universe, but the game... yuck !

Unfortunately, I have no MMO to suggest (lots of EQ-clones right now).
The 2 games I really like were Eve Online, which you already played, and Guild Wars, which is nearing its end (Guild Wars 2 being in development).

You might want to try other non-MMO online games for the next couple of years. I fear our most-wanted godsend MMO is not coming soon. :S

Oh, try Lotro, not just 5 levels, try going as high as you can, dont rush it, try explore at the same time.
