The US senate is in outrage about this!

Not sure what cathegory this should be placed in but it is regarding PvP:

Q: Will there be an FFA PvP server with no restrictions on who you can attack and where? If not what will be the closest thing?

I know the answer to that one.

The PvP servers are by definition Free For All. The only ones who cannot attack you are party members and guild members. And you will only be safe a few limited places, like hubs etc.

[PvP]

- Can you manually aim catapults under sieges? - Can the defending guild intercept firing of siege engines by attacking them before the walls are destroyed?- What happens if siege engines are destroyed? Can you build new ones during the battle?
- Any chance of inventory looting on PvP servers?
- Will shadows, noise, and positioning relative to visual cone affect your chance to stay stealthed in PvP?

[Crafting / Trade]

- Any plans of implementing stats to crafting resources?
- Any plans of implementing traderoutes / caravans between cities and tradeposts?- Can vendors be placed by players, or only by guild officers?

[Combat]

- Is mounted combat formations still in?

[PvE Raids]

- Will there be other end game raid dungons besides Black Ring Citadel at launch?
- Is there a reset timer for raid dungeons?
- Will dungeons have traps and hidden doors a rogue could detect?

He said with strategy you could take a mob out in 1-2 attacks while if you went in without strategy and just swung it was 3-4, or something close to that. Not a big gap of difference.

That may not sound like much of a difference, but to me, that's a big deal. It rewards skill over button mashing. When you can kill a mob twice as fast from a hitpoint / health perspective, it makes a lot of difference in actual gameplay.

Long post with concerns about button mashing etc

I suggest you read the article again. He did not say the combat was button mashing. He said the combat rewarded strategy over button mashing.

New trailer out today! Enjoy!  www.gametrailers.com/player/28580.html
