What X wrote here and at the TR forum, was right. Sometimes it's better to keep people like X. They say what they think and can bring a lot to the game. Isn't that what Beta is about? Testing the game and report what wrong and also give suggestions? Or is about being a fanboi and don't see anything wrong about the game?

I been playing AO for years so I know that Funcom can make great games. It's not that. I was thinking on SWG. It's about Star Wars. Great game in the old days. But it's stuck being a Star Wars game. It have rules. Dev team can't add things like a pink Stormtrooper etc. Dunno if that was a good example hehe. Anyway they are stuck and people will ask for more and more. In the end things get boring.
So AoC is the new big game. We have players looking for a new game and a lot of Conan fans. AoC have a big hype. Will the rules kill the fun? |

About the computers. What I'm saying is... IF the game get a new system, that ask more from your computer. Then maybe people must ugrade the computer (buy a new one). Look at WoW for example. It's made so a lot of people can play it. Some say it look good some think it look old. IF Blizzard change the game, then they will see that poor people will not be able to play the game anymore. They don't have the money.

WoW came at the right time and it's also have more freedom then others, they can add whatever to keep people happy. Games like SWG for example can't add whatever and so on. Plus a lot of the young generation have not seen anything else then WoW so they enjoy it even more. And Blizzard are good at brainwashing. ^^

They talk a lot about combat system, AI, pvp etc. But AoC seems to go more and more to same old mmorpg system. Will the hype kill it? I'm not sure anymore if I will even try AoC. I can't find anything that makes me go "wow"...

Myself got bored very fast. My server is not empty but the combat system is wierd and boring. The mobs are so easy, so after killing some I just logout. And the PvP is bad, very bad. Same place over and over again + you need 1 billions stupid buffs to even enjoy PvP. So it SWG better? Nah. They might do some things better but it's too late. It will never be like in the good old days. I say, pull the plug and work on a new SWG or let someone else make one...

I think it's a bit late to pull the plug. Too many people and time in the game.
But maybe they can give us better servers or give every player land to build on when they enter the game the first time. Nothing big but something to start on and learn the game without paying RL money.
I don't know if it's possible to change how the game look, now when it's so old. But it would be nice with some better look.

First of all... Second Life was not made year 2007. It's NOT a new game... And it's NOT like WoW or Lineage or SWG and so on. But it's a MMORPG. The game don't look good, it's old and the more it look better the more we need in our computers. Do we wanna buy a new computer every month? I don't. And it's NOT all about Porn. Second Life is like Internet. It gives us the power to make what we whant and do what we whant, with some rules. Just like we can do on the Internet. If you wanna look at Porn, then you search for that on Internet. Same inside the world in SL. And if you don't wanna see Porn then you don't need to search for that. Look at the Internet. What do you think is the biggest thing? Fotball or Porn? ...it's Porn. Are you shocked SL will have a lot of Porn then? No. Everybody can join and so the Porn. It's all up to YOU. |

It will not let me sign up at second life, everytime I try to join it doesn't send me e-mail. (Waited a week). I really want to Join Second Life so helP!
